3. Labor Day Weekend at Working Dog Winery

4. Scandinavian Fest in Budd Lake
September 2, 10AM – 6PM
Make your way to rustic Vasa Park for a festival that celebrates all things Scandinavian. Chow down on Swedish meatballs, Danish apple cakes, or old-fashioned soda pop while you watch live performances of folk-dancing, singing, medieval battles, and cultural presentations about the Nordic region. Bonus: Have any traditional folk dress? Wear it and your admission is free.

Soar over to Cape May Airport for a day that will make you want to fly – literally. The Air Fest returns to the U.S. Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum with museum tours, live music, food trucks, a beer garden, historic aircraft and bombers on display, and bomber flights too. Don’t forget to grab a photo with Rosie the Riveter.

6. The 6th Annual Filipino American Festival
September 2, 10AM – 8PM
Ready to celebrate, integrate, and promote cultural diversity? The 6th Annual Filipino American Festival wants to educate the next generation about Filipino Americans and preserve their heritage through music, food, customs, and traditions. Enjoy the presentation of traditional costumes at the fest’s fashion show or hang out in the beer garden while you eat traditional Filipino delicacies.

7. Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival
August 31 – Sept. 1, 11AM – 11PM, Sept. 2, 11AM – 6PM
At the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival, jam out at Jam Central Station and learn all things bluegrass. Hang out and listen to over 25 musicians throughout the weekend, while you feast on food trucks or try the hand-dipped ice cream. This is an event for all ages – there’s always food, there’s always music, sit back and relax at this fest. You can camp out too – so pack tents, blankets, and other essentials if you just don’t want to leave.

8. Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival

As the summer comes to a close and school begins, sneak one more block party in. Wildwood’s beautiful beach and boardwalk invite you to enjoy games, rides, crafts, festival food, and live entertainment all day long.

9. BBQ and Craft Beer Fest at Monmouth Park Racetrack
September 1 – 3, 7:30AM
You can’t go wrong with a good BBQ dish and a nice cold beer to wash it down. Test out NJ’s best pulled pork, brisket and ribs and enjoy a beer in the Craft Beer Garden – which features over 40 craft beers for you to try. There’s plenty of fun for the kids including pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, and clowns. Listen to live music while you pile up napkins – you’ll need them.

10. Famous Food Market in Jersey City

Every weekend from June 16th to October 28th, head over to Harborside Jersey City for over 30 food vendors including a farm to table tent, crafts, beer and wine garden, contests, and games. You’ll love snapping photos with some of New York and New Jersey’s most Instagrammable(and yummy!) foods near the best NYC skyline views.
