Considered one of the largest earth day celebrations in New Jersey, the earth day celebration at Liberty State Park is an event that can’t be missed. There will be many family-friendly amusements, environmental activities, and over one hundred vendor exhibits. Celebrate the planet and spend a day in the sun with Jersey City.

2. Casino Pier Spring Festival
April 23rd, 2016 | 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
The Arcade at Casino Pier is holding spring themed festivities through some spectacular arts and crafts activities. Additionally, families will get the opportunity to win prizes through the games at the event.

3. Friday Night Earth Day
April 22nd, 2016 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

4. ACUA Earth Day Festival
April 24th, 2016 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
After 26 years of hosting their annual earth day festival, the Atlantic County Utilities Authority is back with their environment loving community event. Take your little one to the tables where free workshops will be taking place or dance to the entertainment and music. Come out and enjoy a beautiful day while celebrating the planet.

5. Earth Day at Appel Farm

Learn more about the environment through Earth Day-themed arts projects, music, and food at the Appel Farm Arts and Music Centers earth day extravaganza. Along with arts and crafts, there will be line dancing led by the Junk Jam Family Band.

6. Spring Carnival in Bridgewater
April 23rd, 2016 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Bridgewater hosts its annual spring carnival with over 40 booths, magnificent face painting by the artists, an interactive petting zoo, and a magic demonstration.

7. Branch Brook Park Bloomfest

The trees are finally blossoming which means that the Branch Brook Park Bloomfest is the perfect time for picture taking and sight-seeing. This free festival will be jam packed with Japanese cultural demonstrations, fun activities, live music, and a marketplace.

8. Asparagus Festival
