1. Atlantic City 4th of July Firework Shows

A city known for its grandeur and over-the-top displays, the Atlantic City Firework Shows are not to miss. These two free firework shows are free to view from countless places along the boardwalk, beach, and businesses throughout the city. Join the Borgata for a fireworks spectacular in celebration of 4th of July and Borgata’s 15th Birthday! Public viewing area opens at 6 PM. In addition to their weekly Saturday night Fireworks displays, Tropicana will offer a fireworks spectacular on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 10:00 PM over the beach and Boardwalk!

2. New Jersey State Fair Meadowlands

The Meadowlands has been the host of the New Jersey State Fair during the end of June and beginning of July. This year, there will be a two night Fireworks Spectacular for families to enjoy On July 3rd and July 4th, visitors at the fair will have front row seats to fireworks that promise to ‘wow.’ The fair opens at 2:00 pm and families can enjoy the rides, live animals, music, pig races and many more attractions and activities until midnight.

Montclair Celebrates Committee and the Township of Montclair celebrate Independence Day each year with a terrific line-up of festivities. This year Montclair will host its 68th annual July 4th parade with exciting performances and live entertainment. The Parade takes place on July 4th, beginning at 11am, rain or shine, at Bloomfield Avenue (at South Fullerton Ave). The parade is followed by a fun Family Picnic in Edgemont Park and a spectacular fireworks display in the evening at Yogi Berra Stadium on the campus of Montclair State University.

8. Collingswood Fireworks

To the Max will help Collingswood celebrate America’s Independence on Wednesday, July 4, at Collingswood High School. The eight-piece band, one of the liveliest in the Philadelphia region, will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free. The show begins at 8 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks follow at about 9:15 p.m. at the high school’s stadium. Before the band and fireworks show comes the parade. Collingswood’s Fourth of July Bike Parade is set for Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. Kids, families and cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters patriotically.

Great food, crafts, health screenings, clowns, free activities and rides for the children. Family races and events will take place between 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The City of Clifton fireworks display will be held at the Clifton High School Stadium beginning at dusk following the picnic (tentative raindate: July 6th). The Clifton Community Band will perform during the pre-firework concert at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $3.00 per person and will be available at the City Clerk’s office.

This fun filled day of events takes place at two locations and begins at Recreation Park at 8:30 am and will feature old fashioned county fair type events including 3 legged races, sack races, waterfall races, potato races, balloon races, softball throws, jumping contests, basketball shoots and football throws. There will be prizes and trophies for the winners in several age categories.There will be a concert and fireworks at Crestwood Lake starting at 7:30 pm. The fireworks display will start at dusk.

20. Bridgewater Independence Day Family Festival
Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 6:00 to 10:00PM (Rain date July 5th)

Come celebrate Independence Day with spectacular fireworks! North Branch Park gates will open at 6pm to allow vehicles to enter the park, and the fireworks display will be held at 9:30pm. Visitors should plan to arrive early. Food will be available for purchase, and a Revolutionary War encampment will re-create life during the 1770’s. Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets while they enjoy time in the park before the Independence Day fireworks begin.
