Catch these fireworks in New Jersey all summer long

North New Jersey

Sussex County Miners Post Game Fireworks
Fireworks after home games on select days

You’ll be striking out if you take the family to a Miners game and miss out on the fireworks. This is the biggest fireworks show in Sussex County and happens during select games when the team plays home.

New Jersey Jackals Post-Game Fireworks
Every Saturday home game in the summer 

Here’s another chance to take the fam out to a ballgame and catch some fireworks for a big finish. Head to a New Jersey Jackals game and watch the sizzle in the sky after the players are done lighting up the field.

Randolph Township Freedom Festival
July 11-13
Head to this three-day festival, which features food, carnival games, and fireworks on the last day. If it rains, the fireworks will be on July 14.
Cost: Prices vary for parts of the festival; $ 5 donation per car suggested

The Feast of Mt. Carmel in Berkeley Heights
July 12-16
There will be everything from amusement rides to games to live music. Garden State Fireworks will present the fireworks.

Lebanon Township Fire Department 2nd Annual Fireman’s Festival (The event was in June this year, it’s over)
July 20-23
Enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer garden, carnival rides, games, and fireworks. Hands will be stamped for re-entry.
Cost: Tickets are $20 per person for entry; children 10 and under are free

Feast of Assumption Festival 
August 10

This family festival features a fun night with food, drinks, music, rides, games, and a fireworks show to remember. In addition to the fest’s delicious food, the gigantic fireworks display is one of the best in New Jersey.

Passaic County Fair 
August 15-18

The annual Passaic County Fair is a fave stop for families each summer. There will be fireworks too.

Canal Day Music & Craft Festival
August 24

Teach the fam some history at this summer festival in NJ—take a narrated boat tour of the Morris Canal or prove your prowess by paddling a kayak. Enjoy listening to some of New Jersey’s best musical performers and watch the gorgeous fireworks display over the water.

Mount Olive Food Truck and Firework Festival 
August 24
Experience over 20 food trucks and then let the littles loose on the inflatables. There will also be music, and NJ Monster Truck will be on site for rides for an extra fee.

Wednesday Night Fireworks at Seaside Heights
Every Wednesday until August 28

Head to the boards to hop on the rides, pop into the arcades, indulge in ice cream, and win prizes with your kiddos. When the sun sets, find your favorite spot on the boardwalk to enjoy fireworks at 9:30 PM.

Thursday Night Fireworks at Jenkinson’s
Every Thursday at dark until late August, plus Labor Day fireworks on September 2

This dazzling display at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant is a local tradition—catch the fireworks show on the beach every Thursday night. Before the show, stop by the aquarium or hit up everything else this fave boardwalk has to offer, then take a seat on the sand for the colorful display starting at dark.

Brick Summerfest 2024
July 4, 11 and 18
Check out the bands and fireworks of this popular festival with SuperTransAM, Garden State Radio, and After Shock. All events are free to attend and take place at Windward Beach Park. An adult must accompany all children 17 years old or under.

Somerset Patriots Post-Game Fireworks
Select dates until September 14

A bit further north, this is another chance to enjoy a ball game with the fam and cap off the night with a colorful show in the sky. Cheer on the Somerset Patriots as the sun goes down, and watch the fireworks light up over the stadium.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws Post-Game Fireworks

Chow down on crab fries or a ballpark dog while you cheer on the BlueClaws. Then, at the end of these select games, sit back and relax with a big, bright fireworks show to finish the evening.

Freehold Township Day
July 13

Bring the whole fam to this concert and festival in the park with merchandise and food vendors. Kids can enjoy the rides, teens can hang out in the specially designated Teen Center, and everyone can check out the car show. Don’t miss the fireworks at 9 PM.

Monmouth County Fair 
July 24-28
Look out for fireworks on the opening day of the Fair. You won’t want to miss other events like the pie-eating contest, firefighter’s competition, and live music.

Highlands Annual Clam Festival
August 1-3, fireworks on August 3
There will be fresh food, craft vendors, children’s activities, and, of course, fireworks on the last night of this three-day festival.

Middlesex County Fair
August 5-11, the event schedule is coming soon

The Middlesex County Fair is a popular stop for summer family fun, where you can explore the county’s rich agricultural heritage, learn a new craft, watch The Flying Cortes Trapeze Spectacular, sample some fair food, and have fun on the rides. Head there the first night for fireworks and then go back for more family fun.

Ocean Township Italian-American Festival
August 7-11

The annual Ocean Township Italian-American Festival celebrates all things Italian heritage and culture. Mangia on yummy authentic Italian food, and check out the carnival rides, raffles, food-eating contests, and more. Check the website for more info on the fireworks.

Hunterdon County 4H and Agricultural Fair 
August 21-25

This family-friendly event celebrates Hunterdon County’s rich agricultural landscape. You and your crew can check out the 4-H county fair farm activities, live music, fun games, thrilling carnival rides, delicious food, and the always popular fireworks extravaganza.

August 24

Friday Night Fireworks in Wildwood
Every Friday at 10 PM until August 30

Is there a better way to end a fun-filled week of summer in Wildwood than with free fireworks? Watch a spectacular display exploding to a musical score played along the Boardwalk every Friday night. Grab a beach chair to relax on the sand, or you can see them from anywhere on the boardwalk.

Tropicana’s Free Fireworks Series
Every Saturday, July 6-August 31

This dazzling 10-minute show is part of Tropicana’s Summer Celebration Fireworks Series. The performances are displayed from the beachfront and include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects.

Pemberton Township’s Annual Water Carnival
July 13

Get ready for a fun night with vendors, live music, food, and entertainment. There will also be a fireworks show. The rain date is July 14.

Burlington County Farm Fair

Wildwood Crest Seafarers’ Celebration
September 21
