The Teddy Bear Clinic is an interactive, community-based educational framework co-founded by high school juniors in the Academy for Education and Learning. This scalable model, designed to be replicated nationally, hosts large-scale events where over 250 children bring their stuffed animals for a “check-up.” The event serves as a non-threatening, hands-on environment for children to engage with local first responders (Police, Fire, EMS) and healthcare professionals. The objective is to proactively ease childhood anxieties related to unfamiliar medical and safety environments, fostering a foundational understanding of health, wellness, and community safety through a supportive, playful, and fully developed educational curriculum.
