On Saturday, March 8, Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey will host its Annual STEM Conference: Spark Your Curiosity! at Rowan College at Burlington County.

This one-day event is open to ALL girls in grades K-12, whether or not they are currently Girl Scouts. It’s a chance for girls to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on workshops and engaging activities led by experts in the field.

As you know, families today are busier than ever, which is why this conference is designed to pack as much opportunity into one day as possible. Girls will rotate through four interactive workshops based on their age, exploring topics such as robotics, aerospace, chemistry, and environmental science. They’ll also hear from women working in STEM fields, showing them firsthand what’s possible for their future.

Why This Matters
• Women make up nearly half of the U.S. workforce but hold only 28% of STEM jobs.
• Research shows that early exposure to STEM directly increases the likelihood of leadership and career opportunities later in life.
• Many girls miss out on STEM exploration simply because they aren’t introduced to it in a fun and engaging way.
