Sparta Elks to Host Sparta Township’s 4th of July Parade Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary

The Sparta Elks are proud to announce the return of the Sparta 4th of July Parade, celebrating the 250th anniversary of America.
As the only Independence Day parade in Sussex County, this historic event will bring together local organizations, marching bands, veterans, first responders, businesses, dance teams, community groups, vendors, and families for a day honoring freedom, patriotism, and community spirit.
The parade will take place in Sparta, New Jersey on July 4th at 10:30 am. It will travel down East Shore Trail through White Deer Plaza and end at Dykstra Park. The Sparta Elks are inviting participants, sponsors, trophy sponsors, vendors, and food trucks to be part of this milestone celebration. There will be music, beer garden, food trucks, games, face painting and awards!
“This parade is more than just an event- it’s a celebration of American pride, local tradition, and the incredible spirit of our community,” said Laura Wieczezak of the Sparta Elks Lodge. “As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, we are honored to host a parade that brings people together to celebrate our history and future.”
The Sparta Elks are currently seeking:
Parade marchers and community groups
Local businesses and corporate sponsors
Trophy sponsors
Food vendors
Product sales or informational vendors
Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, offering businesses and organizations visibility throughout the celebration while supporting a cherished community tradition.
