South Orange Downtown Fiesta en La Placita
Fiesta en La Placita takes place on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 7:00 to 11:00 PM at Spiotta Park (20-32 Village Plaza, South Orange 07079). Presented by South Orange Downtown and South Orange Village, this free, all-ages outdoor celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month features a live mariachi performance by Mariachi Classico VIP at 7:30 PM, a salsa dance lesson with Christina Piedra at 8:30 PM, and music throughout the evening from DJ Mixxx.
Tacos and food will be available for purchase from Jus’ Tacos, and guests 21+ can purchase beer and hard seltzers at the onsite bar. This event is part of Downtown on Display, a seasonal series celebrating local businesses through unique community events. Rain date: Saturday, September 27.
