Grounds For Sculpture, Hamilton
Open since the early 90s, Grounds For Sculpture is a 42-acre sculpture park, museum, and arboretum located in Hamilton, NJ. You can currently “visit” their sculptures and horticulture throughout the grounds—which appeal to all ages—by checking out their virtual map.

Hunterdon Art Museum, Clinton
The Hunterdon Art Museum is known for connecting people to contemporary art, craft, and design in ways that educate, challenge, and inspire. This historic museum is offering virtual tours of their museum including their current exhibit, Explorations in Felt (which lets you explore the gallery as if you are there), as well as tours of artwork throughout their building.

Hoboken Historical Museum, Hoboken
Get to know The Mile Square City better by taking a virtual tour of the museum using a 360-degree view of their “Mapping the Territory” exhibit. There are also wide-angle, high-res photos of many of their past and present exhibits including Hoboken’s relationship with the Hudson River, the city’s shipping history and a tribute to the movie On the Waterfront (which was filmed in Hoboken).

Newark Museum of Art, Newark
The Newark Museum of Art has a collection of 130,000 works of art, ranging from Colonial-era portraits to contemporary mixed-media pieces. The museum’s holdings include Asian, African and American art, as well as a science collection totaling 150,000 objects. Though they are not hosting virtual tours per se, they are keeping their patrons occupied on social media with pictures of artwork, artwork challenges, and more.
Physick House Museum, Cape May
The Emlen Physick Estate is New Jersey’s only Victorian house museum. Due to quarantine, they are offering an abbreviated, online version of their guided tour. Princeton University Art Museum, Princeton
The museum has collections of more than 100,000 works of art that concentrate geographically on the Mediterranean regions, Western Europe, Asia, the United States, Latin America, and Africa. You can visit the museum online with access to their exhibits and gallery highlights.
