Women’s History Month: 10+ Local Events to Honor And Empower Women

0

March is Women’s History Month, and with a theme of “Women Who Advocate For Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion,” there’s no better reason to lift up women and recognize their contributions to our society with family or friends. Honor the women firefighters at the NJ Fire Museum in Allentown, learn about the Ladies of Liberty Hall who shaped our state in Union, or watch jazz performances and participate in a scavenger hunt during The Newark Museum of Art Community Day: Ladies First in Newark. And for more events to do in March, we have a bunch of ideas that won’t cost a dime. (featured photo credit: istock/South_agency)
