1) Princess Breakfast
Saturday January 31st 9:30am
Get ready to start your day Princess style at Imagine That.  Little princesses will enjoy bagels and juice and Queens and Kings can enjoy coffee.  Be sure to wear your royal garb and be ready for plenty of photo opportunities.  When the breakfast is over, enjoy the rest of your day at the museum.

2) The Saturday Club at Camp Riverbend

Camp Riverbend invites children ages three to six for a morning of camp fun.  Led by the camp’s counselors, young children and their parents will experience games, sports, crafts, music, cooking and more.

3) Rahway YMCA Open House
Saturday January 31 6:00am-9:00pm
The Gateway YMCA in Rahway just underwent a $3.4 million renovation and they are ready to show it off!  The community is invited to come and enjoy a day at the “Y”.  Take one of four classes exercises, bring your swimsuit for a family swim or shoot some hoops.  Throughout the day, the Gateway YMCA will also have special events and healthy activities.

4) Brick by Brick at the Morris Museum
Saturday January 31st 11:00am to 5:00pm
Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy more than 25 different LEGO exhibits at Morris Museum’s Brick by Brick exhibit.  LEGO artists, engineers and architects have created mind-blowing works of art and architecture.  Family’s will also have the chance to design their own LEGO mini-figures at hands-on stations and leave their mark on the LEGO wall.

5) Indoor Auto Racing
Saturday January 31st 7:00pm
Head down to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City with the family for the 13th annual indoor auto racing competition.  Over 24 racers will exceed speeds of over 70 miles per hour in these midget racers.

6) Monster Jam
Saturday January 31st  2:00pm and 7:00pm
The Izod Center will be transformed with more than a ton of dirt and more than 50 crush cars to create an obstacle course fit for a monster truck.  Join the twelve foot monsters like Grave Digger, Bounty Hunter and more to see who is the biggest and baddest of them all!

7) Drawn to Dinosaurs
Saturday January 31st 9:00am-4:45pm
Did you know that New Jersey’s state dinosaur is the Hadrosaurus?  Find out all about our state’s dinosaur, plus a 25 foot long recreation of the original found right in Haddonfield at the New Jersey State Museum.

8) Rutgers University Geology Museum Open House
Saturday January 31st 9:00am-4:00pm
The Rutgers University Geology Museum will open it’s doors this Saturday for it’s annual open house.  Children ages 8+ will enjoy hands-on activities and make and take events throughout the day about earth science and geology. Be sure to bring any minerals or fossils that you may have collected to have a geologist classify them for you.

9) Friends of High Point State Park Winter Festival
Saturday January 31st 12:00pm to 3:00pm
The Friends of the High Point State Park invite families to celebrate winter in the park.  Families enjoy guided hikes, winter themed arts and crafts, snowshoeing and ice fishing.  Warm up by the the fire with hot cocoa and cookies.

10) Fire and Ice Festival
Saturday January 31st 11:00am-4:00pm
Historic Mount Holly will be transformed into a winter wonderland on Saturday when amateur and professional ice carvers from all over the country show off their skills.  Burlington County’s very best chili cooks will also be competing in a cook off.  There will be plenty of entertainment and family fun throughout the day to enjoy!

11) Maple Sugaring Demo
Saturday January 31st 2:00pm-3:00pm
Did you know that the Great Swamp in Chatham Township is full of maple trees just flowing with sap this time of the year?  Head to the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center to identify and tap maple trees, collecting sap and then watch as syrup is made.  Enjoy samples of syrup made fresh from red maple trees in the Great Swamp.

12) It’s Greek to Me!

The Garden State Discovery Center, South Jersey’s largest attractions for family fun continues it’s passport to adventure on Sunday as they travel to Greece.  Take a tour through Greece with storytelling, architecture and art.  When you are done, be sure to head to the museums 20 hands-on kid-powered attractions!

13) A Winter’s Day at the Farm

14) Groundhog Prediction Party

Will Phil see his shadow on Monday and cause New Jersey to have six more weeks of winter?  Ask Phil himself!  The kids will love the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts for a Groundhog Prediction Party.  Make groundhog crafts with Phil the Groundhog puppet and enjoy some groundhog themed treats.

15) Disney on Ice Princesses & Heroes

The Disney on Ice Princesses & Heroes tour continues in New Jersey this weekend at the Sun National Bank Center.  See it’s final performance today at noon.  Join all of your favorite Disney Princesses as all of their wishes come true in this one-of-a-kind performance.
