The Gateway YMCA in Rahway just underwent a $3.4 million renovation and they are ready to show it off! The community is invited to come and enjoy a day at the “Y”. Take one of four classes exercises, bring your swimsuit for a family swim or shoot some hoops. Throughout the day, the Gateway YMCA will also have special events and healthy activities.

4) Brick by Brick at the Morris Museum

Kids and adults of all ages will enjoy more than 25 different LEGO exhibits at Morris Museum’s Brick by Brick exhibit. LEGO artists, engineers and architects have created mind-blowing works of art and architecture. Family’s will also have the chance to design their own LEGO mini-figures at hands-on stations and leave their mark on the LEGO wall.

5) Indoor Auto Racing

Head down to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City with the family for the 13th annual indoor auto racing competition. Over 24 racers will exceed speeds of over 70 miles per hour in these midget racers.

8) Rutgers University Geology Museum Open House
