We had a fun family day in Philly over the weekend. Finally got to check off some things I’ve been wanting to do. First stop was @easternstate penitentiary. It’s definitely a must see and I don’t know how I’ve lived in the area most of my life and have never been there. Next up was a picnic lunch at the @therailpark. It’s only at the beginning stages, but wow, it’s so neat. I loved the mix use of metal and wood in a garden like atmosphere. I’m looking forward to it’s completion. Our third and final stop was to @weckerlys. I’ve been swooning over the brownie sundae and pretty much all of their flavors. You know how you see things online, but you’re disappointed when you try them? This was NOT the case. Not only did it live up to my expectations, but definitely surpassed them. Everything about the sundae was perfect from the brownie to the ice cream and even the whip cream on top. I highly recommend them and I’ll even go as far as to say this is the best ice cream in Philly.
