It’s FRIDAY!! Lol, I say that as if it is really different from any other day for us! However, it does mean I’ll be signing off for another weekend break! I’ve been taking a break from social media for the last 3 weekends. The first weekend was, honestly, hard! Which I hate to say, but it’s true. This time has helped me readjust and focus on my family. When in this space it can really take on toll on you emotionally. I’ve taken many breaks before, but since diving a bit more into the blogging world I often I will find myself trying to “keep up” or think I’m not worthy! Which obviously is a pretty lousy feeling. Since my weekend breaks I’ve been thinking about what I have to offer to this community. What I want to represent. What voices I want to amplify. I think a little weekend away clears my head of what everyone else is doing and focus a little more of what God is calling me to do. Have you ever taken a break or many breaks from social media? Did you get anything out of it? —————————————— Our shirts our my favorite @miniandmine tshirts so far…. Until I get next months of course! ☺️ Go to there page to see the August Shirt and how you can get it!

*Balance* is not something you find. It's something you create. I had such a great time teaching kids yoga at Soulsational yesterday! The organizers did such a good job switching things up and keeping this a fun and safe experience for everyone. I'm so glad they were able to keep this awesome family-friendly event going for the 10th year in a row! One of my favorite parts of teaching yoga to kids is watching them work through the more challenging poses, like balancing poses. Yoga teaches us to focus on the task ahead, be in the present moment, and have perseverance to keep going… to fall down, and keep getting back up again. Being able to share these lessons with kids is such a gift! What lessons is your yoga practice teaching you? ✌❤😊

Taste of Summer time…. so many times with picky eaters it is just how the food is presented to them that makes the world of difference. . My advice today is to go to the FARM or the Farmersmarket. When our littles are involved in picking the foods and seeing how they grow, they are more invested and more inclined to try something new. This is such a great activity to do and easy to keep socially distant. . We picked blueberries recently, don't know how many ended up in his tummy or the bucket but it was lots of fun. Tonight we will have a fun take on dinner using lots of veggies we got at the farmers market. I will share in stories later! In the meantime happy picking! . #pickyeating #summertimefun #toddlerouting #socialdistancing #pickyeaters #pickyeatinghelp #toddlermealideas #babymealideas #babyfood #toddlersnackideas #familydinner #farmtotable #localfarms #njfresh #NJMOM #phillymom #nycmom #locallygrown #tasteofsummer #kidsnacks #kidmealideas #tinybites #smallbites #parentingtip #parentinghack #parentingexpert
