Navigating Burnout: Cocktails & Conversation at The Co-Co

The holiday hustle is nearing, mamas, and we all know it can be a time where we are pulled in all directions. Keeping track of kids’ schedules, work commitments, “Santa’s” shopping list, decorating, all while making the holiday magic…no matter what your plate looks like, it can be A LOT. So while it’s prime season for family memories and joy, it can also be prime season for some serious burnout.

So what’s a mom to do?

Next Thursday, November 14th, I’m excited to be a part of a panel at The Co-Co in Summit tackling the topic of burnout. When Victory Public Relations approached me about sitting on the panel for this event, it was an immediate yes. I believe this topic is more important than ever, particularly for moms. After just bringing home my third babe under four, and undergoing a career shift, I am in the THICK of it. I’m learning day by day how to delegate, energize, de-stress, say no when I need to and not give into pressure (often my own!) to take on more than I should or can right now.

Victory Public Relations CEO and founder Andrea Mullan (who we featured as a #NJMOMpreneur of the week) will be leading the discussion, and I’ll be joined by three other powerhouse New Jersey women: Good Housekeeping Executive Editor (and #NJMOM of three) Meaghan Murphy, Bloomingdale’s Marketing Manager Marlie Massena, and RWJBarnabas Health’s Dr. Vanessa Trespalacios. Join us as we dish about how burnout manifests in our lives, the tools we lean on, and what actionable advice we can offer, especially as we head into the busy holiday season.
