Making the Holidays Brighter: 106.7 Lite FM + RWJBarnabas Health

It’s a holiday burden no #NJMOM should have to shoulder: spending what should be a joy-filled family time in the hospital with a sick child. As moms, seeing our kids hurting is so painful. As moms, there’s nothing we want more than to make it all better for our babies. So mama, if you’re spending this holiday by your child’s bed side, we see you. We’re thinking of you. We’re wishing for brighter, healthier days ahead for your babe and we’re sending you all the warrior mom strength we can. You have a community behind you.

Watching the smiles on kids’ faces at Newark Beth Israel Hospital, you see just what it means when that community comes through. Through a partnership between RWJBarnabas Health and 106.7 Lite FM, thousands of gifts were collected and delivered to kids at four New Jersey children’s hospitals, making their difficult season a bit brighter. Sure, it may just be an LOL Surprise Doll or an Avengers Lego set, but to them, it’s so much more than that. It’s a moment they don’t have to think about treatment or pain, and can just be kids.
