Spend the day in the vineyard
Enjoy delicious wine from the vineyard
Whether you savor a rich cabernet or a crisp chardonnay, Laurita Winery has a comprehensive selection of wine varietals made from the grapes grown on-site. In fact, the winery produces between 14,000 and 16,000 cases of wine, creating the slogan—local, authentic, and sustainable—and all the wines are sold exclusively at the winery. With an emphasis on Vinifera, the classic European noble variety grapes, you can savor favorite blends like Chardonnay and Merlot or indulge in decadent dessert wines like Chocolate Peanut Butter Therapy, a rich blend of, you guessed it—chocolate and PB. Not sure what you like? Stop by Laurita for a wine tasting, where you will have the chance to taste six of the wine selections with the help of trained wine producers.
Make sure you bring your appetite
Sure, a winery is the perfect place to relax with a glass in your hand, but Laurita Winery also has delicious food to go with your drinks. Comfort food favorites like Bacon Cheeseburger, Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, Grilled Vegetable and Goat Cheese Sandwich, and Turkey Club are on the menu. Wine tasters will love the Charcuterie Board, a medley of cheese, olives, dates, apricots, and crackers. And bonus—Laurita suggests a wine pairing for every item on the menu (including snacks like the Bavarian Pretzel).
Events for every season
From food trucks and fire pits to Comedy Night, the event calendar at Laurita Winery is always full of upcoming things to do among their gorgeous vineyards. And most events are family-friendly, such as the fall Pumpkin Pick and Sip, where you take a hayride, pick a pumpkin, and decorate it, so go ahead and bring the kids to enjoy all the festivities too (we call that a parenting win). Other events are fun for couples or even a mom’s night out—events are always from Thursday to Sunday, and keep an eye out on the events calendar to see what’s coming up.
Book a room at the cozy Inn at Laurita Winery
If you have your eye on one of the events at Laurita Winery and want to make it a true getaway weekend, book a room at the Inn at Laurita Winery. Located half a mile down the road from the winery, this Inn has cute rooms and suites to relax and enjoy time among the vineyards. Each room sports a different theme, ranging from The Vineyard, which has a private sitting room and porch overlooking the front lawn, to The Lighthouse, which is decorated like the coastline with a nautical bedroom loft and reading nook. In the morning, feast on a complimentary buffet gourmet breakfast made with organic and local produce. (The Inn is only open for overnight stays on specific weekends that coincide with the 2024 Laurita Winery Events and Festivals schedule).
You can have fun with everyone
Want to spend the day sipping wine but don’t have a sitter? Make it a family affair, and bring your crew. During events, kids can do plenty to keep busy with face painting, live music, and food trucks, but even without an event, there’s a playground on-site where your littles can congregate. Keep in mind that kids need supervision and that some of the events or happenings at the winery will be adult-only—most 21+ events happen at night, so check the calendar before you go.
