As kids settle into the classroom at school or virtually, no doubt you’ve got a ton of questions swirling around in your head—like what happens if your child becomes exposed to COVID-19 at school, or how does virtual learning affect eye health, or how can I boost my kids’ immunity? That’s why we’ll be sitting down with Dr. Jon Sicat, the Director of General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, to talk kids health and wellness amid the unique circumstances of COVID-19. About Dr. Sicat

Dr. Jon Sicat is both an Internist and Pediatrician, and the Director of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry at New York University and Doctorate from the New York College Of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently Director of the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatric Residency Program at Newark Beth Israel, as well as the Associate Program Director for the Med-Peds Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He cares for both adult and pediatric patients in his hospital practice and has a focus on children and adults with special health care needs.
