Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert is coming to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Saturday October 28, 2017. J.K. Rowling’s beloved franchise started out with seven books and quickly turned into movies, video games, theme parks, and so much more. The plot throughout the series focuses on magic, love, friendship and the battle of good against evil, making it a positive influence on your little ones’ character. As the second installment in the eight-part movie series, this show is the perfect way to introduce Harry Potter to your little ones, and spark your love for the books and movies all over again.

On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, your family has two chances to experience Harry Potter’s second year as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at NJPAC. Performances are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and the show features a viewing of the full-length movie projected in HD with the music performed live in concert.
At the show, Harry Potter fans of all ages will be able to completely soak in the magic thanks to the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra performing John Williams’ score live while the movie is playing. Williams is the composer of the music in the first three Harry Potter films, including the infamous “Hedwig’s Theme.”

If you and your little ones get hungry, there are two convenient venues on location that offer dining options– NICO Kitchen + Bar and Tier 3 Café. In addition, parking lots and garages are available on-site to make your trip convenient and affordable.
New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is a dynamic performing arts center located in Newark, N.J. that has served millions of people throughout the years.
