Meet Wally, a two-toed sloth during a Scoop on Sloths experience at Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant, set up your laptop to watch Justin Willman Magic For Humans with NJPAC, or make it a family crafting day by heading to the Family Studio Workshop at Montclair Art Museum in Montclair.

Haddonfield Restaurant Week
March 9th-14th
Go out or pick up take out and stay in—the 2nd annual Haddonfield Restaurant Week is a great way to support local restaurants hit hard by the pandemic and give back to those in need. Participating businesses located throughout town will be offering special deals throughout the week, and collecting non-perishable food donations in partnership with NJ Farmers Against Hunger, Food Bank of South Jersey, and Cooks Who Care.

The Scoop On Sloths
Friday, March 12th from 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
You’ll wave hello to Wally, the two-toed sloth, and learn how sloths spend most of their time upside down in this informative session. Once the session’s over, explore the rest of Jenkinson’s aquarium and see all the sea life there is to offer.
$20 per adult, $15 per child aged 5 and up (part of general admission to the park)

Saint Patrick’s Day Tours, at the Historic Village at Allaire 
Saturday, March 13th from 12:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Even if you’re only a wee bit Irish, check out this tour, where the whole family can spend the day soaking up Irish history and culture. There will be demonstrations of traditional Irish cooking, folklore, music, and more from Allaire re-enactors, who will be dressed in period costumes.

Accordion Melodies of the 1890s

Inspired by the Montclair Art Museum’s newest exhibition, Fragile Freedoms: Maggie Meiners Revisits Rockwell, your family will create a collage representing your family’s personal identity, values, hopes, and aspirations. Once it’s done, display it at home so you will always have a special reminder of what makes your family unique.
