June is finally here and as New Jersey moves towards reopening, there’s no better time to head outdoors and get moving for family fun. Enjoy a fireworks show from your car’s sunroof at Skylands Stadium, dance to your favorite jams in your own yard or living room with Hoboken Relief Fund and DJ Cam, or run at your own pace during a virtual 5K to raise autism awareness with GoThe Distance For Autism.

Psst! We love seeing your stay-at-home New Jersey adventures. Be sure to tag your photos with #NJMOM and @njmom for a chance to be featured in our round-up next week.

RWJBarnabas Health #FitFortheFrontLine Fundraiser
Ongoing
Want to do something to help healthcare workers get protective gear or boost morale? Here’s an easy and fit way to do it with this statewide family fitness challenge that supports frontline workers at RWJBarnabas Health affiliated medical facilities. Get the family going by choosing the RWJBarnabas Health facility that you’d like to donate to, register, and post any healthy activity—like walking, running, or a fitness video class—with #FitfortheFrontline and #RWJBHStrong. Then challenge others to do the same: All funds raised will go towards goodwill programs and PPE gear and give our healthcare workers the help they need right now and going forward.
