March 8th is International Women’s Day, and what better way to celebrate this holiday than with lots of other women who are making an impact in the Garden State. A unique panel of women will share their insights on how investing time, talent, and treasure can strengthen communities at A Gathering of Givers: New Jersey Women Making an Impact.

NeNe Leakes, from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, hosts an outrageously funny and laid back stand-up comedy event featuring a seriously talented cast of women. Girl power! The Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour is sure to keep you laughing with appearances by Adele Givens, Sherry Shepherd (long-time host of The View), Loni Love, and Janelle James. At the National Dance Institute’s performance of At the River’s Edge, your family can enjoy young dancers ranging in age from 9 to 15 as they celebrate the cultures, creatures, and cities that thrive “at the river’s edge.” The production is inspired by the mighty rivers of the world including the Amazon, the Hudson, the Ganges, and the Mississippi. Your littles will go nuts over this fun, interactive extravaganza of Disney Junior Dance Party! On Tour. They can sing and dance to Disney Junior hits with their favorite characters, and best yet, this event features Fancy Nancy. Characters scheduled to visit include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Vampirina, Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Puppy Dog Pals!

Celtic Woman: Ancient Land Tour on March 24
The all-female Irish music group Celtic Woman has the performance of a lifetime and they’re bringing it to NJPAC this March with the Ancient Land Tour. This ensemble is Grammy-nominated and celebrates Ireland’s rich heritage with each note they play. Old Irish traditions ring true in this performance of singers, dancers, and musicians as they perform stories of land, love, and dancing. Welcome the spirit of Ireland to New Jersey!
