25 Kid-Friendly Things To Do This Weekend August 18-20


August is slowly slipping away, but with plenty of things to do this weekend, we’re still having lots of summer fun. Menlo Park Mall Hosts Back-to-School Celebration
August 19 at 1 PM
It’s back-to-school season, and Menlo Park Mall is ready to help you celebrate. There will be select samples and giveaways from retailers such as Shake Shack, Bang Cookies, AMC Dine-In Theatres, Orange Theory Fitness, The Body Shop, and True Believers. You can also stop at LUSH to create your own bubble bar and Sephora for select samples and a skincare and make-up tutorial. The fun at the event includes a Fashion Show Extravaganza—witness the latest trends and styles brought to life as American Eagle and Franki by Francesca’s come together for a memorable show. Mini Makeovers from Celine’s Spa & Event—discover the art of self-care and pampering with mini makeovers courtesy of the skilled professionals from Celine’s Spa & Events. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in refreshing beauty treatments to get them ready to take on the new school year. And once the runway lights dim, we’ll turn up the music and get ready to dance! Enjoy some tunes and groove to the beat as we embrace the back-to-school spirit.

Looking for something unique to do with the fam? The Clifton Recreation Department is hosting a Family Campout where you can set up your tent, make s’mores, play games, do crafts, and spend the night under the stars.
