It’s the first weekend in June, and we’re kicking it off with lots of family-friendly fun. Enjoy crafts, food, a classic car show, and more at the 2024 West Orange Street Fair, celebrate all things strawberries at the West Cape May Strawberry Festival, or take in the food trucks, ice cream, a beer garden, and tons of fun at Marlton Day. Heading to the Shore? LEAD Fest Carnival at Garden State Plaza
May 31 – June 2
Garden State Plaza hosts this carnival, which benefits the LEAD (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) Program. Enjoy a day full of food, rides, and entertainment.

Taste of Greece Festival Tenafly

Everyone is a little Greek at this lively event, featuring performances by a dance troupe, cathedral tours, and live music for the whole family.

50th Annual Greek Festival
May 31-June 2

West Orange Street Fair 2024

Join one of the biggest events of the year in West Orange. The Street Fair features local crafters, food from local vendors, street performers, a classic car show, a beer and wine garden, a rock-climbing wall, free all-day admission to the Thomas Edison Museum, and more.

Kids Fishing Derby
June 1 at 9 AM
The early bird gets the worm at this fishing derby, which includes a free lunch and a casting contest for kids. There will also be awards and goodie bags. The event is open to ages 2-15.

West Cape May Strawberry Festival
June 1 at 9 AM
Get ready for a delicious festival that’s about all things strawberry. There will be vendors, live music, glitter tattoos, pet portraits, hair braiding, and strawberries.

Haddonfield Skirmish
June 1 at 9 AM
During this re-enactment, the British will invade Haddonfield just like they did 246 years ago and face opposition from the Continental troops. There will be a Yelling contest, colonial dancing, and character reenactors. Festivities start at 9 AM, and the skirmish begins at 2 PM.

47th Annual Hungarian Festival
June 1 at 11 AM
Where else can you see folk dance performances, cultural programs, and sample Hungarian foods? The Hungarian Festival has vendors, exhibits, live music, and folk art for the whole family to enjoy.

Under Cover Music Fest
June 1 at 2 PM
Enjoy great music as nine cover bands take the stage at Under Cover Music Fest. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from local eateries, and kids’ activities will be available in the Y-Zone from 2 to 6 PM courtesy of the South Mountain YMCA.

It’s the 34th Annual Summerfest in the Park—the festival will feature live music, food trucks, craft vendors, and inflatables for the kids. The rain date is June 2.

Strawberry Festival

Car Show
June 2 at 9:30 AM
Head to this fun event where the whole fam can check out the cool cars on display. There will also be a beer garden for the adults, food, live music, and time to tour the Train Station museum. The rain date is June 9.

Jersey Pride – NJ 32nd Annual Statewide LGBTQ Pride Parade
June 2 at 12 PM 

It’s New Jersey’s annual statewide LGBTQ pride celebration with a free parade of entertainment and headline performers that kicks off at noon. After, join the festival (a $10 entrance fee), and don’t forget to bring a non-perishable item for the food drive.
The parade route begins at Town Hall and continues to Cookman to Grand to Sunset to the festival grounds at Sunset and Ocean, Asbury Park, NJ 07712

Fair Lawn Street Fair

Everyone will enjoy a day outdoors in Fair Lawn with live music, a DJ, crafters, vendors, and more.

56th Annual Strawberry Festival
June 2 at 1 PM
This is one of the largest events in Montgomery Township, organized by a local Boy Scout Troop. Delicious strawberry desserts will be served, and entertainment will delight the whole family.
