5. East Brunswick Art and Musical Festival

East Brunswick’s Spring Fest is finally here to deliver your family a day of fun and entertainment. The event will showcase live music, food trucks, and plenty of kids activities such as: face painting, balloon twister, photo booth, temporary tattoos, pinwheels, mandala art project, mural coloring w/ Artist People, and painting with Pinot’s Palette. The best food trucks the tri-state has to offer culminates into one great event. This epic mash up will include over 30 food trucks, a beer garden, harness racing, and more family fun yet to be announced. Families can also VOTE for their favorite food trucks from NJ vs. Philly while jamming out to great live music.

9. New Jersey Renaissance Faire

The New Jersey Renaissance Faire invites your family to figure out of myths and history as they are taken on a path and must figure out a way back on their paths. Greats such as Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael are back, and this time as the actual famous artists their names are based on. This Spring at Liberty Lake, popular historical figures from Machiavelli, Ferdinando de’ Medici, and more will transport your family to a family-friendly festival filled with entertainment, food (including giant pickles and the ever popular “dragon legs”), and mystifying activities including a Jousting Tournament, Human Chess Match, and seven hours of Sword Fighting, Juggling, Fire Breathing, Aerialists, Comedy and Music on a variety of stages. There will also be a wine garden, a Merchant Village filled with glass blowing, blacksmiths, and other fine trinkets.
