New Jersey Botanical Garden Harvest Fest
October 13-14, 10AM – 5PM
What’s cooler than a harvest fest in NJ? A harvest fest in the New Jersey Botanical Garden. This harvest fest celebrates with pumpkin painting, hayrides, face painting, games, and activities for your littles. You’ll enjoy live music and dancing, the beer garden, an autumn plant sale, free garden tours, and plenty of opportunities for photo ops.

Family Float Festival
October 14, 9AM – 2PM
It’s time to float with the family in Smithville Park. The Family Float Festival wants you to grab a canoe or kayak and float along the Rancocas Creek or Smithville Lake to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage NJ has to offer. Shuttles are provided to bring you back to Smithville Park for food, entertainment, and kids activities.

South Jersey Pumpkin Show Festival

With endless amounts of family activities, food, live entertainment and wine sampling for the adults, everyone will have a blast at this fest. Annual Apple Festival at Kirby’s Mill

8th Annual Rubber Ducky Race

Now’s your chance to attend the rubber ducky race held every year in beautiful Sperry Park. Over one-thousand individually numbered rubber ducks will be released in the Rahway River and tumble over the falls racing to the finish line at the North Union Ave Bridge. The fastest ducks win prizes. All proceeds benefit Hanson Park maintenance and educational programs.

The Great Pumpkin Train

Trains leave at 11AM, 12:30PM, 2PM, 3:30PM
Looking for a quiet afternoon with the family? Take the kids on a scenic train ride along the Delaware River, enjoy the corn maze, and mine for gems at the Ol’ Susquehanna mine. Every train stops at the pumpkin patch and every child leaves with a pumpkin, hopefully a smile too.

Sussex County’s 9th Annual Harvest, Honey, and Garlic Festival

This family event features fresh local products like honey, garlic, produce, cheese, and wine. There’s plenty of garlic to shop and enjoy provided by the Garden State Garlic Growers, and you’ll learn more than you know now about bees with the Sussex County Beekeepers Association.
