1. Montclair Animal Shelter

2. Color A Smile
Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that collects cheerful drawings from volunteers of all ages. Every month Color A Smile distributes thousands of colorful drawings to Senior Citizens, Our Troops Overseas, and anyone in need of a smile.

3. Visiting Nurse Association Health Group
Each year at this time, VNAHG reaches out to friends in support of the “Seasons of Hope” program for the children and families of the patients served. This program brings home the true meaning of the season and the mission of VNAHG, to care for those in need. VNAHG is always amazed and inspired by the benevolence of volunteers, community partners, staff and generous supporters who bring hope and joy to the VNA families. 5. Lifeline Animal Rescue Inc.
Lifeline Animal Rescue is an all volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue homeless cats from overcrowded shelters and find appropriate homes for them. By volunteering to help Lifeline Animal Rescue, YOU CAN help many more animals find new homes! Since Lifeline Animal Rescue, Inc. is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers, they are always in need of additional help. Many people who are unable to adopt a pet find satisfaction by helping the organization as volunteers.

7. Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey
Ronald McDonald House of SNJ provides a home-away-from-home to families of seriously ill and traumatically injured children who are being treated at nearby hospitals and operates 11 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across the Southern New Jersey region. The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey is looking for students in grades 9th-12th to be selected to serve for a minimum of one year on this council after submitting a written application, followed by an interview process.

8. Morris Habitat for Humanity
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials from the support of local businesses, churches, individual donors and fundraising events, Morris Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates houses in partnership with families in need.
