Can you believe we’ve almost made it through April? And to make this coming week fly by, we’ve got a bunch of new online events that will entertain the whole family. Whether it’s participating in a virtual driveaway chalk gallery with Monmouth Arts, joining a virtual scavenger hunt fundraiser with NJCASA or listening to live music from Collingswood Connects, logging on to one or all of these will be a welcome break from the boredom.

Psst! We love seeing your stay-at-home New Jersey adventures. Be sure to tag your photos with #NJMOM and @njmom for a chance to be featured in our round-up next week.
Chalk the Walk with Monmouth Arts
Daily from 12 PM – 2 PM
Monmouth Arts wants you to show off your family’s artistic masterpieces: Have your littles create works of art or write inspiring messages with sidewalk chalk on your driveway and snap a photo. Post it to Monmouth Art’s Facebook page or Instagram with the hashtag #ChalktheWalkMonmouthArts. Each week, a name will be drawn at random to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
Rockness Music House Party
Weekdays at 10 AM
Join the party—each day, Rockness music invites littles and their parents to join a musical online broadcast that fuses live music with movement, dramatic play, STEAM, drumming and instrument exploration.
NJPAC’s In Your Living Room Weekly DJ Dance Party
April 23, 7PM
Get that family house party going—NJPAC is hosting a Facebook Live DJ Dance Party every Thursday. This week, you can boogie to the sounds of DJ Jihad Muhammad. Turn out the lights, get down and have a ball grooving and moving in da club (aka your basement).
Sing for Hope
April 24, 8 PM
Be a “Beacon Of Hope” for those reaching for light in the darkness of cancer during this uncertain time. Each week, take in a live concert from a featured artist (April 24 is Cara Samantha Music) for an evening of music and hope, and text a donation—100% of funds raised will benefit NJ families affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Westfield Garden State Plaza Presents Facebook Live Stream: Outrageous Pets
April 25, 10AM – 11AM
Have the kids tune in (and get extra homeschool science points) to this session that will feature exotic animals from all over the world. They’ll not only get to see them up close on a screen but will learn all interesting facts about them, like where they live and what they like to eat.
Heroes on the Hunt for Hope
April 28 – May 2
Join NJCASA for the Heroes on the Hunt for Hope event —a virtual scavenger hunt and flash fundraiser that supports efforts to end sexual violence in NJ and help survivors. When you register, you’ll get a scavenger hunt sheet and then let the kids loose to look all over the house and yard for the items. After you complete it, snap photos and post on social media to share your family’s special finds, all while raising money to support this worthwhile cause.
Living Room Concert from Collingswood Connects
April 30, 6 PM
Pour a glass of wine for you and grape juice for the kids, and sit back and enjoy a living room concert from solo artist Jenny Pilong / Little Fawn. Little Fawn is the breakout solo project of recording artist, Jenny Pilong (Hotsy Totsy). With Little Fawn, Pilong has juxtaposed her singer-songwriter roots against the lush, sonic landscape of electronic pop to create a fresh, new sound that blends organic instruments and vocals with electronic beats and sounds.
