Garden State Outdoor Sports Show
January 10 – 13
Outdoor enthusiasts unite at the Garden State Outdoor Sports Show. There are activities for all ages, including fly fishing, a shooting range, archery tag, the world famous Hawg Trough, a Trout pond, and much more. The Kids Zone is fun for the whole family: learn how to cast a rod and mine for treasures.

Atlantic City Motorcycle Show
January 11 – 13
Have a bike lover in your life? Well, you’ll get the best of both worlds at this event. Check out cool cruisers, enter to win prizes, and enjoy family-friendly activities like face painting, Glow in the Dark Putt Putt, and an arcade.

Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge
January 12, 1PM
More than just an icy dip in the ocean, the annual Polar Bear Plunge raises money for an extremely worthy cause: The Special Olympics. The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities and health screenings to more than 25,000 athletes. Support this worthy cause by donating, plunging, or simply showing up and cheering everyone on.

Family Arboretum Challenge
January 12, 1PM – 2:30PM
Head over to Reeves-Reed Arboretum for a fun family challenge in the gardens and woodlands. You’ll be equipped with a compass and map, and then it’s time to head out and search for clues. When you’ve finished, you’ll enjoy hot chocolate inside as you decipher the code.

Frost and Flames
January 12, 11AM – 4PM
Watch master ice carvers chisel out incredible figures into giant blocks of ice at this all day event, throughout locations in the park. Your littles will be amazed by the ice carvers, the flame dancers, and other demonstrations like metal pouring. Cozy up by the fire at the outdoor warming lounge.

Super Action Saturday by The Superhero Network *for families with special needs*
January 12, 11AM – 1PM
This is a safe space for families with children who have special needs. There is a space for the “Supers” to foster social skills, as well as a Siblings Kick Cave for siblings to paint. Parents can enjoy Parent Central and unwind, as well as meet other families.

Second Saturdays – Cabin Fever Dance Party
January 12, 3PM – 5PM
Join the Central Presbyterian Church of Montclair for an afternoon dance party with your family. Listen to tunes by DJ Crick Daddy, get out of the house, and get your blood pumping.

Kids Yoga with a Mermaid

Teddy Bear Tea

Pinkalicious the Musical

Now in it’s sixth run, Pinkalicious the Musical is the perfect show for you and your littles. The show describes the plot as, “A girl finds herself in a colorful predicament after her indulgence in too many pink cupcakes causes a severe case of Pinkititis!” Sounds pretty fun to us.
