2. 3rd Annual Middletown South Food Truck Fest

Middletown’s Annual Food Truck Festival is back and better for a third year in a row. This delectable festival will display all of the fan favorite food trucks from last year along with several new faces. Other than the great food, there will also be a live band, DJ, Rolling Video Games, and Laser tag.

3. 6th Annual Hoboken Irish Cultural Festival

The 6th Annual Hoboken Irish Cultural Festival is finally back again. This exquisite festival will feature live entertainment, authentic Irish food, a Beer Garden sponsored by Finnegan’s Pub, Gaelic Games and an Irish Soda Bread Contest. There will also be pony rides, a petting zoo, moonwalk, a inflatable obstacle course, and face painting for the kids.

What better way to celebrate our lovely Mothers on Mother’s Day than a trip to the park? Monmouth Race Track Park invites everyone to partake in traditions like picking a winning horse as a family, or come and start new traditions by treating Mom to a special Mother’s Day Brunch. All Mothers will receive a FREE gift with paid admission, while supplies last. Working Dog Winery invites everyone to partake in their Mother’s Day Weekend celebration. The festivities start on Saturday, and will feature Live music and food brought to you by DeLorenzo’s Pizza Truck. Remember to pack a chair just in case. The fun does not stop, however, on Sunday there will be delightful wine tasting accompanied by terrific music. Event goers will also have a chance to taste award winning wine while listening to Cat Moon Daddy. A continental breakfast and other assorted treats will be available to spoil your mother with, along with the popular Jersey Devil BBQ food truck. Alba Vineyard wants to make sure you are treating your mom right for Mother’s Day with a special event filled with a wine tasting, cellar tour, food, live music, and more. Wine tastings will be $10 per person, 21 and older, which includes eight samplings of some nationally award-winning wines. Food will be available for purchase from vendors such as: Osteria Morini, Cold Stone Creamery, and The House of Cupcakes. Event goers are welcome to bring a picnic lunch as well as partake in the children’s activities or local crafters and artisans. 13. Spirit of the Jerseys State History Fair

Spirit of the Jerseys State History Fair is a unique experience that allows event goers to get a taste of five centuries of New Jersey’s history all in one place. This year’s fair will showcase several Civil War themed programs as well as an exhibit of President Lincoln’s casket. Along with that viewing pleasure, A local Civil War reenactment will provide an honor guard for Lincoln’s casket. There will also be a Fort Delaware Cornet Band that will perform music of the era. A mix of hands-on activities include: historical games, to plowing a furrow, or participating in a military drill will be open to children and adults alike.

15. Run The Hook 5K & 10K 2017

Run The Hook 5K & 10K in partnership with Clean Ocean Action is the ultimate run. The 5k and 10k features breathtaking views of both Atlantic Highlands and New York City, as well as offering a unique platform to run in and support charity. The event is delighted to be able to partner with Clean Ocean Action as its charitable beneficiary in 2017. A portion of the proceeds from the race will go directly towards effects to preserve and improve the quality of New Jersey’s oceans and beaches. Run The Hook challenges every runner to raise $300 among their family and friends with a overall goal of $100,000! This is 100% optional, but an amazing way to help make an even larger impact on your local community and environment.
