1) Learn How to Make A Heart Box
Saturday February 7th from 9:00am-12:00pm
Learn how to build a heart box for Valentine’s Day at your local Home Depot.  Children ages 5-12 will keep their craft, receive a certificate of achievement, a Home Depot workshop apron and a commemorative pin.

2) National Geographic Kids Club
Saturday February 7th at 9:00am
The Freehold Raceway Mall invites you the first Saturday of every month for the National Geographic Kids Club.  Located in the Food Court on the upper level, the Kids Club is hosted by 94.3 The Point.  Enjoy fun activities and crafts with a Nat Geo theme, plus free carousel rides until 11am!

3) Read and Explore
Saturday February 7th at 10:00am
One of the Princeton area’s best family farms, Terhune Orchards, invites you to their monthly Read and Explore program this Saturday.  Your family will learn about animal tracks around the farm and read a story.  After story time, make bird feeders to take home to help keep the birds fed throughout the winter.

4) Winterfest
Saturday February 7th from 1:00pm-3:00pm
Children of all ages are welcome at the 2nd annual Winterfest at the Madison Public Library.  Enjoy ice painting, DIY snow globes, a live-sculpture demonstration and more!  At 2:00pm, Mad Science will be performing magic tricks and science experiments featuring the power of gas for children ages 6-10.  Children ages 3-5 can partake in the Penguin Party for special penguin themed songs, crafts and games.

5 Valentine’s Day Card Making

Pottery Barn Kids is partnering with Bright Horizons Foundation for Children to create handmade Valentine’s Day cards.  Children can create two cards: one to take home and one for a child in need.

6) StarLab Planetarium Show
Saturday February 7th at 1:30pm
Explore the night sky at the Monmouth Museum MMKids StarLab Planetarium Show.  This 20 minute presentation is perfect for children 7+.  Learn to locate the constellations and the mythology behind them in the night sky.  When the show is over, enjoy the hands-on activities in the Becker Children’s Wing.

10) Dinosaurs of the Deep

11) Wolf Watch Tour

Join the Lakota Wolf Preserve owners Jim and Becky on a Wolf Watch Tour.  This one-of-a-kind experience will teach you about wolf packs, their eating habits and other interesting facts about wolves.  Take priceless photos, watch the wolves play and maybe if you are lucky, you will hear that iconic wolf howl.  Also on the preserve are bobcats and fox.
