Finally, stay-at-home orders are lifting, and the countdown to summer is merely days away. But even though this summer is going to look a lot different than any we’ve ever known, it’s still a time for kids to be kids—especially after a season of social distancing and e-learning. We are all itching to try something new, socialize, and even get outside. And now, more than ever, camp is a time when kids can grow and blossom in a stress-free environment, meet new friends, and try completely novel things. New Jersey camps have the green light to open in July with social-distancing and COVID-19 preventative guidelines in place, but if you’re still on the fence about sending your kids, there are a bunch of virtual camps to bring the experience home. Read on for 4 NJ camps that are accepting registrations now—and cheers to getting this summer started.
Psst! Don’t forget to hashtag #NJMOM and tag @njmom and your little cuties could be featured in our next photo round-up.
