Spring is around the corner, and if you’re looking to keep your kids busy, RWJBarnabas Health offers classes and events that shake up the usual routine for the whole family, from toddlers to teens. The best part? You can choose to do them at home or in person. Whether it’s mommy and me style cooking classes in Hannah’s Kitchen, learning about healthy snacks at an interactive nutrition class, or teens brushing up on driver safety tips, there’s a class or event that will give your family something to look forward to this March. Healthy Kids in Hannah’s Kitchen

Join in-person or virtually for this hands-on cooking class for ages 8-12; parent/guardian must register. Your child will learn how to cook with nutritious ingredients, how to read a recipe, kitchen safety tips, measuring techniques, knife skills, and more. Share the Keys: Teen Drivers
March 8 at 6:30 PM
Share the Keys is a research-based, data-driven interactive program for parents and their teen drivers designed to reduce teen driver crash risks through increased parental involvement. Presented in partnership with New Jersey Manufacturers and Safe Kids Monmouth/Ocean. A light dinner will be served to in-person attendees.

2nd Annual Eat Clean Bro Gala for CSH Foundation – Children’s Specialized Hospital
March 24 at 6 PM 
With this event, we hope to raise awareness and continue treating over 150,000 pediatric patients each year at Children’s Specialized Hospital. Cardiac and Concussion Screenings for Young Athletes – West Orange/South Mountain Recreation Complex

Play it safe! The Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes is happy to provide free cardiac and concussion screenings for young athletes. Cardiac Screening is open to the first 75 athletes aged 6-18. Concussion Screenings are available to the first 75 athletes aged 5-18. Screenings are recommended to be repeated every two years. An appointment is required in advance. Your inquiry will be contacted in the order it was received, and you will receive an email within the next few business days. If you are not contacted regarding this request in the next 2-3 business days, please get in touch with Mustafa.naematullah@rwjbh.org. This program requires masks to be worn in all treatment areas for your safety.
