Attend educational workshops, take tours of JCMC’s labor and delivery and visit with local family-friendly vendors at this free event celebrating parenthood

Whether you’re newly pregnant, just had a baby or have littles at home, be sure to check out the Jersey City Medical Center this Saturday, September 21, when they host their 4th Annual Baby Fair. Bring the whole family—kids can have fun getting their face painted and posing in a photo booth, while you and your partner listen in on educational workshops and go on maternity tours. The free event, which is from 11 AM – 3 PM, will also feature 14 area vendors that will offer samples and product demos for baby accessories, food and drinks, prenatal massages and more, as well as hourly raffles to win prizes.

If you’re a first-timer (or even a pro!) and want to get a peek of what to expect, plan on taking a tour of Labor and Delivery, that will run on the hour from 12- 2 PM. Want to brush up on your skills or learn something new? Check out one of the educational workshops offered every half an hour for in-depth looks at infant sleep habits, baby and child CPR, first nutrition, daddy bootcamp and working with a doula. Also make sure to browse the vendor tables, where you can find out about mommy and me classes, healthy nutrition, maternity and post-maternity fashion, as well as the right time to schedule a photo shoot of your newest family member.
