It’s back to school this week, and while that means summer is (un)officially over, there’s still plenty of family fun this weekend. Feast on Italian specialties, watch live entertainment, and hop on rides at the Hoboken Italian Festival in Hoboken, celebrate New Year’s all over again with the Mummer’s Parade at New Year’s in North Wildwood, or join in face painting, a petting zoo, and pony rides at the 46th Annual Cranbury Day in Cranbury. Want more fun and FREE activities? 2024 Giants Fan Fest
September 6 at 5 PM

Who’s ready for some football? If you have a NY Giants fan in the family, head to this event where you can enjoy players, on-stage legend panels, and a drone light and fireworks show.

The Hoboken Italian Festival

Looking for a fun way to spend the weekend? Look no further than the Annual Hoboken Italian Festival. There will be delicious food, live entertainment, rides, and the Sunday “feast” day, where the statue of the Madonna Dei Martiri is carried through the town streets.

New Year’s in North Wildwood
September 6-7
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Mummers from Philadephia’s 2024 New Year’s Day Parade for a memorable day. Over a dozen String Bands will be featured as the Mummers Parade steps off at 3 PM at Olde New Jersey Ave, beginning at 2nd Street and concluding at Spruce Ave. The string bands will be performing, and you will have the chance to get up close and personal views of the gorgeous costumes and vibrant colors.

53rd Annual Wood Street Fair
September 7

This is an annual event that should be on your weekend calendar. There will be fun things to do, including 175 crafters, food, music, art, and more.

Swim Clinic at First Star Swim School – Eatontown
Fridays starting September 13 at 5:30 PM

Starting September 13th, our program is designed to help swimmers focus on stroke technique, build endurance, and improve starts and turns. Learn about distance and stroke counting, and understand the rules and regulations for competitive swimming—all in a supportive team atmosphere. This is 8 weeks of swimming and pre-registration is required to secure a spot in this program.
