1. Manasquan Fireman’s Fair
Friday July 31 & Saturday August 1 from 6:00pm-10:30pm
Celebrate the amazing firemen at this cool fair. There will be games, rides, and entertainment for everyone to enjoy. There will also be a firefighter parade and much more fun. Come out for a fun time!

2. Downtown Somerville Cruise Night
Friday July 31 from 6:00pm-9:00pm
Celebrate a 26 year-old tradition this Friday night. Enjoy seeing cars from all over the United States and even from around the world. You will get to see classic models of American as well as Japanese, German, and more cars. If you are a car lover, this event is perfect for you.

3. Wildwood Boardwalk Craft Show

Take in the beautiful beach view while shopping for unique, handmade crafts on the boardwalk. There are a ton of crafts to see and a great assortment, so you can find whatever you’re looking for! Plus, when you’re done you can head straight to the beach.

4. New Jersey State Fair
Friday July 31, Saturday August 1, & Sunday August 2 from 10:00am-7:00pm
Attend the NJ state fair for an awesome weekend because there will be so much to do. You can attend the horse show, go on rides, and even see bull riders. Games, food, and entertainment will be available all weekend. So bring your family and have lots of fun.

5. The Little Mermaid

7. Full Moon Beach Camping
Friday July 31 – August 1 from 8:00pm-10:00am
This is not your ordinary camping trip! Instead of camping out in your backyard or in the woods, try camping out on the beach. Bring your own tent, sleeping bags, and pillows and relax in the moonlight with your family. There will also be a bonfire and storytelling. This will be a fun night for all (Bathrooms are available).

8. Just Peachy Festival

Show your Jersey spirit by celebrating on of the state’s famous fruits: peaches. You can taste many peachy treats, ride on a tractor, and also attend a canning class. Live music, kids’ games, and animal viewings will also be part of this awesome festival.

10. Warren County Farmer’s Fair

12. Down on the Farm Weekend

Spend the day like a farmer! See the barnyard animals, make crafts, and even ride a horse. Celebrate the life of the people living during the “age of homespun” and appreciate their culture. It will be a fun and educational day for all.

Abby Jurgens is a student at Villanova University majoring in Communications and minoring in Creative Writing and Spanish. She lives in Bergen County, NJ with her parents and older sister.
