Meatball Throwdown at the Jersey Shore
September 20, 6PM – 9PM
Hang out this Thursday night with everyone’s favorite dish – the meatball. Raise money for local causes while you help pick the best local meatball. There’s four categories: Best Traditional, Best Non-Traditional, Best Amateur, and Best Overall. Dessert is provided and there’s live music too.

Westfield International Film Festival
September 20 at 6pm – September 23rd at 10PM
Do you love watching movies? We do too. It’s always a great way to spend the weekend – at a film festival. New Jersey always has a few and the Westfield International Film Festival is sure to keep you on your toes with films, panel discussions, and a gala event.

34th Annual Oktoberfest at Mountain Creek Resort
September 22-23, 11AM – 9PM
October will be here before you know it – so why wait for Oktoberfests and beer halls? Love beer and pretzels? This event has over 100 varieties of beers, ciders, hard sodas, and seltzers. You’ll love the authentic live German music, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, bounce house, Bratwurst toss, and all the Lederhosen you can imagine.

Bellview Winery Harvest Party

Wizards, Witches, and Wands Festival
September 22, 10AM – 5PM
Whether you, your kids, or the hubs love Harry Potter, now is the time to celebrate it. This is a town wide event that features awesome activities like House Sorting, Broom and wand making, potions classes, photo ops, Quidditch lessons, and a Quidditch tournament. Grab your wand for this wizardly event.

Rahway Culture Crawl Festival
September 22, 1PM – 6PM
The Rahway Culture Crawl Festival is a “one-day explosion of arts,culture, and music,” – and we’re sure it’s not one to miss. It’s an art-based event that features live performances, interactive art, scultpture, and video. Bonus: for just $8 a person you and the fam can compete in a scavenger hunt competition.

11th Annual Green Day Festival 
September 23, 12PM – 4PM
Spend the day in the beautiful Hammonton Lake Park for Green Day. This day is fun, inspiring and educational for the kids – it’s time to learn about the local environment and sustainability of Hammonton. Don’t worry there’s food trucks, live animals, outdoor activities, and canoeing too.

Apple Festival at Happy Day Farm
September 22-23, 10AM – 5PM 
Eat all things apple at Happy Day Farm’s Apple Festival. The leaves have changed and fall is officially upon us which means apple picking, pumpkin picking, corn mazes, hayrides, and pig races – and you can do all of this and more at this festival. Apple cider doughnut, anyone?

Irish Fall Festival North Wildwood
September
20 at 12PM – September 23 at 3PM
Get lucky at North Wildwood’s Irish Fall Festival. There are bands and artists playing music all day long alongside other vendors and tons of food. There’s a beer garden, a 5K run, and even free Irish dance lessons – it’s time to put your dancin’ pants on.
