6th Annual Hop Sauce Festival
June 1, 11AM-6PM
It’s one of the most unique events at the Jersey Shore, combining over 100 hot sauces with over 50 craft beers and seven hours of live music. The Hop Sauce Festival has become an LBI favorite, drawing craft beer, spice enthusiasts, and families together for local fare, original music, and cultural vendors in a family-friendly atmosphere. Check out games for your littles and afterward, enjoy a short walk to the beach. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation, which raises funds for coastal communities and the environment.

NJ Greekfest
May 31 – June 3
Go Greek for the day in Westfield! Watch Greek dancers and learn a few moves, listen to live music, eat tons of homemade authentic Greek specialties (we’re eyeing up the spanikopita!), watch cooking demonstrations, and bring the littles to the Kids Zone. You’ll be saying “Opa!” for days to come.

Marist Carnival
May 30 – June 2

If you’re staying north this weekend, but still want that boardwalk feel, check out Marist High School’s Carnival in Bayonne. It’s a carnival featuring rides, games, cotton candy, ice cream, and more, bringing a bit of Jersey Shore nostalgia to Hudson County.

The Skirmish In Haddonfield: The British Are Coming!
June 1, 10AM-4PM
Your family can travel back in time this weekend to the Revolutionary Era. Throughout the day, actors and actresses will wander about the crowds as they prepare for the historical Haddonfield skirmish at 1PM. Your family will enjoy live music, games, caricatures, stockade photo ops, arts and crafts, and yummy food. Tours of the historic tavern are available all day.

Summer Food Truck & Craft Beer Fest

This family-friendly festival is stacked with delectable food trucks and craft brews. Enjoy live music and make a stop inside the family-friendly Yogi Berra Museum for special activities and to learn all about the baseball great.

Point Pleasant Summerfest
Evening of May 31 & June 1, 11AM-7PM
Point Pleasant has hosted this festival for 29 years and it’s become known as the kickoff to summer for this Jersey shore town. Shop the open markets, try new foods from food trucks and local businesses you love, and purchase a wristband for the kid’s activity area. Listen to live music and spend time in the Beer and Wine Garden.

Roxbury Food Truck Fest
June 1, 11AM-7PM
Food, family and fun come together in Roxbury for this food truck fest, featuring over 20 local food truck faves including Amanda Bananas, Cupcake Carnivale, Jersey Rollz, The Mexi Boys, Cheezen, and The Rolling Pita. Shop local vendors, jam out to live music, and enjoy tons of games with your kiddos.

Hasbrouck Heights Street Fair
June 2, 10AM-5PM
It’s looking like a perfect weekend to wander a street fair. At this one in Hasbrouck Heights, enjoy live music and entertainment on two stages, two food courts featuring street food vendors and local restaurants, shopping from local vendors, and family fun like the JC Kids Zone, where you’ll find carnival games, bouncy inflatables, a trackless train, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, and temporary tattoos.

Somerville Street Fair and Craft Show
June 2, 11AM-5PM

Funny Farm Rescue Summer Festival
June 2, 9AM-4PM

Spend time on the farm this Sunday at this super fun, family-friendly festival. Shop local vendors, listen to live music, have lunch, and spend time with some adorable farm animals. Take a family hay ride, get the kids’ faces painted, and check out the games, basket raffles, and food trucks. All proceeds benefit the Funny Farm Rescue, home to 500 animals.
