The Cumberland County Fair is stocked full of family fun options, from a demolition derby to livestock shows and auctions, amusement rides, great food, a magic show, farm and garden exhibits, and live music. #NJMOM hack: head here on Children’s Day, July 5th, when kids under 4 feet get free admission all day long!

State Fair Meadowlands
July 3 – July 7
State Fair Meadowlands continues with all kinds of fair fun for the family. Ride all the amusement rides, take in the live shows and concerts, and of course, sample your fave fair foods. Your littles will love the illusionists and the Royal Racing Pigs.

“Truck”erton Food Truck & Brew Fest: Bacon is Back!
July 6 – 7, 11AM-6PM
“Truck”erton is a must if you or your littles are bacon lovers! Head to the Tuckerton Seaport with the family where you can get your fill of all things bacon, and mom and dad can sample some brews. Sizzle into summer with this event featuring food trucks, pig races and sizzling cooking demonstrations. Ah, we can smell it now!

Blueberry Bash at Terhune Orchards
July 6 – 7
Celebrate one of New Jersey’s sweetest summer treasures at Terhune Orchards’ annual Blueberry Bash. Bring the whole fam to two-acres of pick your own blueberries and stock up for the season. Enjoy live country music in the afternoon and a puppet show by Tuckers’ Tales Puppet Theatre. Hop on a wagon ride, enjoy pony rides, face painting, games in the barnyard and leave with the makings of a great pie or cobbler!

Bordentown Independence Day Fireworks Celebration
July 5, 4PM-9:30PM
Keep the 4th of July celebration going in Bordentown with another day of patriotic fun. You can enjoy food, live music, a Kid’s Corner, cornhole tournaments, and fireworks to end the night.

American Flag Celebration – Melting Pot Festival
July 6, 11AM-6PM
The Historic Village at Allaire is also celebrating America’s rich history this weekend. This patriotic and educational event features an antique flag exhibit, live music, food, craft vendors, patriotic pet and stroller parade and a beer/wine tent. Step back in time and watch 19th-century craft demonstrations like blacksmithing, carpentry, and wood carving. Your kids can play some old fashioned games on the green, too!

City of Millville Fireworks & Food Truck Festival
July 6, 5PM-10PM 
Race over to New Jersey Motorsports Park for a night packed with family fun. The festival features live music, tons of food trucks, local vendors to shop, and a kids zone! Enjoy some go-karting or paintball with the older kiddos and finish the night with a magical display of fireworks at 9PM.

Sidewalk Chalk Competition

Wildwood has a jam-packed weekend of events for the whole family to enjoy, and this one is especially for the little ones. Let their artistic flair shine on the sidewalks of Wildwood! At Bill Henfey Park, the sidewalk chalk competition begins at 9AM. Other events this weekend include the Boardwalk Craft Show, Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market, or Downtown Wildwood 80s Dance Band Concert Weekend! Check them out here.

Ship Bottom Fire Company’s 7th Annual Summer Block Party

Family Fun Night at Pier Village

Every Sunday night through July and August, check out Pier Village in Long Branch for family fun by the beach! This weekly event is everything summer nights should be, featuring bounce houses, slides, inflatable obstacle courses and lots more. Visit the Pier Village Family Game Room or Boardwalk Fun N’ Games to challenge the fam to a round of skee ball.
