It’s getting hot, hot, hot, and there’s no better time than this week to head out with the fam for social distancing fun. Shop the sidewalks, eat, and jam out to family-favorites jams from the 60s at Summer Music 2020 in Princeton, celebrate the holiday halfway mark with Christmas in July Movie Night in Neptune City, or have a blueberry-filled day of fun and music at the Whitesbog Preservation Trust Mini-Market Day in Browns Mills.

July Flea Market! at the Historic Village at Allaire
July 25, 8 AM – 2 PM
Also known as “the best flea market on the Jersey shore,” head over to the Historic Village at Allaire’s opening weekend where you can shop for tons of bargains, vintage treasures, books, art, handmade and sustainable items, and more to support this fundraiser for the village. After, enjoy a picnic lunch from the Pilsen Gourmet Food Truck and explore the Historic Village at Allaire. Remember to bring a mask and practice social distancing while there.

Yoga in the Park!
July 25, 9 AM – 10 AM
All levels and ages are welcome for this yoga session at Canco Park Conservancy, led by Jessica Strickler, a yoga instructor with over 800 hours of teaching certification through the Jivamukti method. Be sure to bring a mat and a (lightweight) mask, and register early because space is limited due to social distancing. Afterward, take a walk around Canco Park and explore Jersey City for some Saturday morning brunch.

Blueberry Season Mini-Market at Whitesbog

Blueberry season is in full swing, and Whitesbog Preservation Trust is celebrating with a morning of blueberry picking, shopping with local makers, food, and music. Keep in mind social distancing and take a seat at a picnic table to enjoy fresh blueberries and yummy treats. You can also take a Blueberry Field Guided Tour at 1 PM.

Drive-In Car Concert Featuring Mars Landing formerly The Wrecks
July 25, 6 PM – 10 PM
Take the family out for an outdoor drive-in concert that’s sure to have you dancing in the street, er parking lot. Bring your chairs, table, pop-up tent, and tailgate games for a night of live music. Food is available with table reservations made in advance. There are 6 people max per car, and per spot, with security ensuring everyone is social distancing between spots. No vehicles will be permitted to enter after 6:15 and can leave only during intermission or after the concert ends.
