Spring is fully blooming right now, and there’s plenty to do with the fam this week to take advantage of it. Jenkinson’s Wristband Day
Tuesday, April 6 from 12 PM – 5 PM
Take advantage of the warmer temps and head to the boardwalk for this special day, where you pay one price ($27) for a wristband that will gain entry to unlimited rides on the soaring, whirling, and speedy coasters of Jenkinson’s Amusement Park. This also includes brand new ones too, like the Adventure Lookout Ropes Course and 7D Dark Ride.

Virtual Antarctica Late Night
Wednesday, April 7 from 6 PM – 7:30 PM
Kids will love taking a “cool” virtual trip to the South Pole, where kids will play games, answer trivia, and more. On this fun educational night, they’ll explore with a game about Antarctica, learn to make “ice cores’ and listen to a short presentation about seals.

Online Movie Trivia Night
Wednesday, April 7 at 7 PM
Grab your popcorn and have the whole fam take up this “offer you can’t refuse”—compete with others to answer trivia questions about all kinds of iconic movies. After 50 questions, there will be prizes for the first and second-place winners. Reconnect with others, and see which movies are family favorites.

Tai Chi at Grounds for Sculpture
Thursday, April 8 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
After a long winter indoors, spend a morning outside at the beautiful Grounds for Sculpture practicing Tai Chi. The ancient practice promotes body wellness by blending physical exercise with motions that reduce stress. This event is beginner-friendly and perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Story Pirates’ Sleep Squad Virtual Performance
Friday, April 9 – Monday, April 12
During this world premiere, on-demand production of kid-driven comedy and music, kids age 4-12 will experience a new kind of post-dinner, pre-bedtime ritual. Kids will become members of the Sleep Squad, a group of the world’s most advanced dreamers, and they can pick a co-pilot of their choice (their favorite stuffed animal, blanket, or toy). Get ready to blast off into an unforgettable nighttime routine they can view all at once or in three separate performances.

Draft Animal (Plowing) Demonstration
April 10 and 11 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
The whole family can get outside to see the horses at the Historic Longstreet Farm in action as they plow, which is the first traditional step in field preparation. You can also experience turning a farrow with the guidance of the farmers.

NJ Highlands Spring Car Trek
April 11 from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Load the kids in the car, designate a navigator, and join the caravan (starting in Morristown) for a scenic tour of the New Jersey Highlands featuring the Highlands forests and mining history. The kids will love looking out for points of interest in this friendly and fun described route that winds through some of the most beautiful scenery in North Western NJ and ends in Sparta.

Virtual Artist “Meet and Make” 
Sunday, April 11 from 2 PM – 3 PM
Join the artist Adebudmi Gbadebo in a special virtual program that takes arts & crafts to a whole new level. Gbadebo uses natural materials to make art and is working on turning soil into ceramic sculptures. Follow along as Gbadebo teaches you how to turn dirt from your own backyard into an amazing art project.
