Want To Help Your Child Cope With School Changes? Chat With #NJMOM LIVE On Facebook This Tuesday At 8PM

0

With all the changes our kids are facing in the new school year, it can be a lot for their young minds to handle—those first-day jitters are now compounded by new routines that may include wearing masks, social distancing, hybrid schedules, and Zoom issues. That’s why we’ll be sitting down with Amanda Smyth, a licensed clinical social worker at Therapeutic Sand and for an NJ public school district. She’ll be chatting with us about how you can mentally and emotionally prepare your kids for this very different school year, as well as how you can manage it without feeling stressed. We’re sure you’ll want to tune in to this very timely topic, so head over to our Facebook page on Tuesday at 8 PM and click on the videos tab on the left-hand side to watch. Send a quick hello in the comments, tell us how you’re doing, or ask us a question— we’d love to hear from you. And in the meantime, answer our quick one-question poll and your thoughts might be featured on NJMOM and News12 this week.

Amanda Smyth, licensed clinical social worker for children and families at Therapeutic Sand.
