2021 Walk N’ Roll
September 19 at 10 AM
Gather the kids, lace up your kicks, and team up for the 15th Annual Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation Walk n’ Roll. Support children facing unique health challenges and promises to be filled with fun along the banks of the Raritan River to the chance to design your very own superhero cape. Register as a virtual walker too.
Registration Fee: There is no registration fee, but if you raise $25 or more, you will receive an official Walk N’Roll t-shirt and other incentives for various prize levels

2021 Steeplechase Distance Run
September 26 at 7:30 AM in-person, September 18-27, or challenge yourself the whole month of September
Bring the whole fam out to support the Steeplechase Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset with the 13th annual Steeplechase Distance Run. This event raises money to create free supportive services for patients, including educational programs, yoga, art therapy, and more. This is one of those races in NJ that you won’t want to miss.

Running with the Devils 2021
October 24 in-person 5K registration starts at 7:30 AM or join October 1-24 virtually
RWJBarnabas Health and the New Jersey Devils are teaming up again this year at the Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex to honor RWJBarnabas Health’s 35,000 healthcare workers with the Running with the Devils 5K and Walk. Besides all the fun and NJ Devil players lending a hand, your family can feel good about participating—100% of the proceeds will benefit RWJBarnabas Healthcare Heros in their efforts to protect and build healthier communities. You can register here ahead of time for the in-person run and virtual one.
Registration Fee: Registration starts at $30 for adults, $25 for RWJBarnabas employees, and children under 11 are free

October 24, Live pre-walk kickoff at 9:30 AM
The Friendship Circle Walk benefits the Friendship Circle and LifeTown programs for children and adults with special needs. There will be a pre-walk kickoff, synchronized 1-mile walk, and 5K run through the FCwalk app, and after the walk, an outdoor carnival celebration for all at LifeTown. Register for the event.

Healthy Kids Running Series
Dates vary per location
An inclusive youth running experience to inspire kids to lead an active, healthy lifestyle and believe in themselves, the Healthy Kids Running Series is an event in 39 states, including New Jersey. In 2021, Healthy Kids will take place from Paramus to Cape May Court House. Some upcoming events include East Brunswick on September 19 and 26 and October 3, 10, and 17, McGuire Air Force Base on September 17 and 24, October 1 and 8, and Glen Rock on September 19 and 26 and October 3 and 10. There are more locations in the Garden State to check out.
Registration Fee: $40 three weeks prior to the start date
