This crowd-favorite event features the work of over 150 juried contemporary and traditional artists\, unique artist demonstrations\, a Beer & Wine Garden\, family art activities\, WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser\, live musical entertainment\, and more! \nThroughout the WheatonArts campus\, visitors can engage with a diverse community of artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art. From inspired paintings\, decorative ceramics\, and novel jewelry to innovative wood sculptures and vibrant wearables\, the Festival offers interesting one-of-a-kind treasures for everyone! Some of the artist demonstrations for this year include basket making\, woodturning\, intaglio etching\, copper flame painting\, and more! \nEveryone can experience the creative process with additional complementary art-making activities thanks to a special PNC Arts Alive grant. Other fee-based artistic hands-on opportunities will also be available throughout the grounds. WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser will be back once again as an outdoor installation that invites Festival goers to be immersed around beautifully handcrafted glass pumpkins of all shapes\, sizes\, and colors—each individually handcrafted by WheatonArts’ Glass Studio Team. All fundraiser proceeds support arts educational programming at WheatonArts. \nVisitors 21 years and older can grab a seat\, or a hay bale\, to enjoy the Beer & Wine Garden (Permit #140641) with selections from Glasstown Brewing Company and Bellview Winery. Various gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks will line the food court with refreshments for purchase. Additionally\, visitors can enjoy live musical entertainment from South Jersey’s own Chris Lax and the Package Goods Orchestra. DESCRIPTION:The 44th annual Fire Muster & Fire Fighter’s Family Day\, presented by the Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade\, will take place at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center on Sunday\, August 17\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore over 80 antique fire trucks from the Mid-Atlantic States on display through the WheatonArts campus. \nThis year\, the fire truck used during the episode Peyton’s Places: The Santa Game will be out for presentation! The truck featured in the segment is a very rare 1961 Ward LaFrance Firebrand model. The FireBrand was introduced in 1960 and manufactured for just under 3 years by Ward LaFrance\, located in Elmira Heights\, New York. With only 109 Firebrands manufactured\, few are known to remain in running condition. This truck and its sister truck are part of Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade member John Burzichellis’ Ward LaFrance collection. \nVisitors will be able to take pictures as they climb aboard the fire truck and stand in the same spot as Peyton Manning did during the episode. \nFire Muster is FREE and open to the public\, part of WheatonArts Family Days\, presented in part by PNC Arts Alive. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Borough of Kenilworth the Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from 14th St. to 23rd St. and transformed into a giant block party from 10 am-4:00 pm. This event will feature quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food\, kiddie rides\, and kids area\, live music and performances\, and local merchants & civic organizations. \nSHOPPING\nShop til you drop along the Boulevard with over 100 quality exhibitors selling their merchandise such as jewelry\, handbags\, sports collectibles\, clothing\, home decor\, and much more. There is a special section with handmade crafts from local and nearby crafters and artisans with unique one-of-a-kind items. \nLIVE ENTERTAINMENT\nWhether on stage or under our music tents\, you will enjoy the sounds of some very talented cover bands\, soloists\, dancers\, demonstrations from the local karate & dance studios and more. It’s also a chance to kick back\, take a break in the music section filled with table & chairs for your use. \nKIDS ZONE\nPlus lots of fun stuff in the kid’s zone area all day\, where the children will enjoy this section filled with kiddie bounce rides\, slides\, and interactive blow-ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids games\, temporary tattoos\, and face painting\, just to name a few things. \nFOOD TRUCKS\nAs you stroll along the Blvd stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. Come hungry and enjoy eating carnival food favorites like a sausage & pepper sandwiches\, cheesesteaks\, kettle corn\, chicken fingers\, ice cream\, zeppoles\, shish kabobs\, gyros\, fresh-cut fries\, fresh-squeezed lemonade\, Italian ice\, and the many great gourmet foods from the food trucks. \nCAR SHOW\nThis year’s event will again feature a car show of Custom…Classic…Street Rod…Muscle Cars in front of Harding School (Enter from Boulevard & North 14th St./use 426 Boulevard in your GPS). Set up starts after 10 am. Registration – Day of Show. Cars must be registered by 1:00 PM to be judged. Trophies for Winners! All Proceeds go to Pride in Kenilworth Committee. DESCRIPTION:The Hermitage Museum is located in Ho-Ho-Kus NJ and was designated a National Historic Landmark. The Friends of the Hermitage\, Inc. will be hosting this event. Organized in 1972 as a 501(c)(3)\, this corporation works to preserve and restore The Hermitage and provide programming at the site. We expect approximately 60 exhibitors selling a wide variety of antiques\, collectibles\, vintage items\, estate jewelry\, coins\, stamps\, comics\, sports memorabilia\, furniture\, dolls\, and much more. Along with browsing the booths of many exhibitors\, you may enjoy some delicious food from the many food trucks that will be there. The museum will be open for walk-through tours and throughout the day\, you can enjoy the lively music by one of our regular performers. Bring your valuables and treasures. Between the hours of 11 am-3 pm\, you will be able to have your items appraised by a certified appraiser\, Jon Feltz of RZM Fine Arts & Antiques Inc. from Pearl River\, NY. The fee is $10 per item appraised. Parking is on the grounds and at neighboring parking lots. You will see parking signs. Admission to the fair is $5 per person. Proceeds from this event benefit the Hermitage Museum. Rain or inclement weather cancels the event\, which will be announced on our website\, our office number\, and JC’s social media event updates.

The concert features the Westminster Community Orchestra conducted by Dr. Ruth Ochs; the Rider University Chorale directed by Tom Shelton; the piano duo of Phyllis Alpert Lehrer and Ena Bronstein Barton; student singers from the Honors Music Program\, Danielle Sinclair\, director\, and Caelan Costello\, Vito Cottone\, and Joanna Hou\, winners of the Westminster Conservatory Piano Concerto Competition. The concert will include selections from Porgy and Bess and The Empire Strikes Back plus music by Mozart\, Rachmaninov\, Grieg\, and the world premiere of Searching by Westminster Conservatory faculty member Cecilia Reilly.
