DESCRIPTION:The Hasbrouck Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the borough’s most popular spring event\, held annually along the Boulevard. The Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from Raymond St to Washington Place and is open to the public from 10 am-5 pm. The fair features area merchants\, and 100+ quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food trucks and booths\, a kids entertainment area\, live music. The free concerts highlight popular cover bands at the main stage on Raymond St. There is a 2nd music area on Hamilton Ave. which showcases all local talent including karate schools\, dance schools\, and music schools on the local stage. The children entertainment area has kiddie inflatables\, a trackless train\, face painters\, games\, sand art\, slime making and more fun stuff to do. Kids\, make sure to visit “Gina the Balloon Lady” for your FREE balloon character or head ware…compliments of the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce. Her booth is located by the kids zone on the north end of the fair by Kipp Ave. Come hungry! Some of the local eateries will be participating in outdoor dining along with a variety of gourmet food trucks and food vendors serving lobster rolls\, gyros\, shish kabobs\, zeppoles\, funnel cakes\, fried oreos\, sausage & pepper sandwiches\, empanadas\, cheese steaks\, Kettle corn\, ice cream\, lemon ice\, candy and nuts\, sweet bread\, jams\, sticky buns\, burgers\, fries\, hot dogs\, ice cream\, lemonade and more. There’s a beer garden too!…located at the Heights Bar and Grill at 163 Boulevard. If you like shopping this is the place to be. This festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and local merchants selling products\, new items\, and collectibles. There is a special section with handmade crafts from local and crafters and artisans with unique one-of-a-kind items. Also\, stop by the many sponsor booths to see what goodies they are passing out. DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 26 years of artistic excellence\, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center hosts the anticipated annual Festival of Fine Craft on October 4 and 5\, rain or shine! This crowd-favorite event features the work of over 150 juried contemporary and traditional artists\, unique artist demonstrations\, a Beer & Wine Garden\, family art activities\, WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser\, live musical entertainment\, and more! \nThroughout the WheatonArts campus\, visitors can engage with a diverse community of artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art. From inspired paintings\, decorative ceramics\, and novel jewelry to innovative wood sculptures and vibrant wearables\, the Festival offers interesting one-of-a-kind treasures for everyone! Some of the artist demonstrations for this year include basket making\, woodturning\, intaglio etching\, copper flame painting\, and more! \nEveryone can experience the creative process with additional complementary art-making activities thanks to a special PNC Arts Alive grant. Other fee-based artistic hands-on opportunities will also be available throughout the grounds. WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser will be back once again as an outdoor installation that invites Festival goers to be immersed around beautifully handcrafted glass pumpkins of all shapes\, sizes\, and colors—each individually handcrafted by WheatonArts’ Glass Studio Team. All fundraiser proceeds support arts educational programming at WheatonArts. \nVisitors 21 years and older can grab a seat\, or a hay bale\, to enjoy the Beer & Wine Garden (Permit #140641) with selections from Glasstown Brewing Company and Bellview Winery. Various gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks will line the food court with refreshments for purchase. Additionally\, visitors can enjoy live musical entertainment from South Jersey’s own Chris Lax and the Package Goods Orchestra. DESCRIPTION:Main Street will be transformed into a giant town block party\, from Park Street to Cedar Street. This event is presented by the Ridgefield Park Board of Commissioners and each fall it brings out thousands of music lovers. The fair is open from 10 am to 5 pm rain or shine. Bands will be performing on the Cedar Street stage and there will be a DJ with games and activities at the other end of the street fair by Park Street. We have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items\, a special arts & crafts section\, live entertainment\, kiddie rides & games\, great festival foods & food trucks\, and so much more. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they are passing out between Union & Essex Streets. Come hungry and enjoy eating a wide variety of food favorites like a sausage & pepper sandwich\, cheese steaks\, kettle corn\, chicken fingers\, ice cream\, zeppole\, shish kabobs\, gyros\, fresh cut fries\, fresh squeezed lemonade\, Italian ice\, all served by the local restaurants and gourmet food trucks. We also have The Kids’ Zone which is a section dedicated to children with kiddie bounce rides\, slides and interactive blow-ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids’ games just to name a few things. DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 26 years of artistic excellence\, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center hosts the anticipated annual Festival of Fine Craft on October 4 and 5\, rain or shine! This crowd-favorite event features the work of over 150 juried contemporary and traditional artists\, unique artist demonstrations\, a Beer & Wine Garden\, family art activities\, WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser\, live musical entertainment\, and more! \nThroughout the WheatonArts campus\, visitors can engage with a diverse community of artists exhibiting and selling their handcrafted works of art. From inspired paintings\, decorative ceramics\, and novel jewelry to innovative wood sculptures and vibrant wearables\, the Festival offers interesting one-of-a-kind treasures for everyone! Some of the artist demonstrations for this year include basket making\, woodturning\, intaglio etching\, copper flame painting\, and more! \nEveryone can experience the creative process with additional complementary art-making activities thanks to a special PNC Arts Alive grant. Other fee-based artistic hands-on opportunities will also be available throughout the grounds. WheatonArts signature Glass Pumpkin Fundraiser will be back once again as an outdoor installation that invites Festival goers to be immersed around beautifully handcrafted glass pumpkins of all shapes\, sizes\, and colors—each individually handcrafted by WheatonArts’ Glass Studio Team. All fundraiser proceeds support arts educational programming at WheatonArts. \nVisitors 21 years and older can grab a seat\, or a hay bale\, to enjoy the Beer & Wine Garden (Permit #140641) with selections from Glasstown Brewing Company and Bellview Winery. Various gourmet food vendors and specialty food trucks will line the food court with refreshments for purchase. Additionally\, visitors can enjoy live musical entertainment from South Jersey’s own Chris Lax and the Package Goods Orchestra. And the Festival fun doesn’t end there\, as everyone can stop by the information table near the front gate to sign up for a chance to win a variety of WheatonArts door prizes! \nFestival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday\, October 4 and 5\, rain or shine\, and is included with general admission to WheatonArts. Admission at the gate is $14 adults\, $13 senior adults\, $8 students\, and free for WheatonArts members and children ages five or younger.
