DESCRIPTION:This event sponsored by the Long Hill Chamber of Commerce will be held along Main Avenue between Mercer & Somerset Streets from 10am-5pm rain or shine. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event and will be transformed into a giant block party. If you like shopping then this is the place to be. We have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items\, a special arts & crafts section\, live entertainment\, kiddie rides & games\, great festival foods & food trucks\, and so much more. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they are passing out between Union & Essex Streets. As you stroll along stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. See the show we have planned with live music\, dancing\, karate demonstrations and more. So come hungry and enjoy eating carnival food favorites like a sausage & pepper sandwich\, cheese steaks\, kettle corn\, chicken fingers\, ice cream\, zeppole\, shish kabobs\, gyros\, fresh cut fries\, fresh squeezed lemonade\, Italian ice and the many great gourmet foods from the food trucks. We also have The “Kidz Traveling Shindig” which is a section dedicated to children with kiddie bounce rides\, slides and interactive blow ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids games just to name a few things. We will have live entertainment throughout the day. \nTake the train to the fair!\nYou can take the NJ Transit Train to the Stirling Station and you will be at the street fair. By car the detour route is Passaic Ave. and Somerset Street. Parking is available at the Train Station lot\, and the side streets. This event will feature quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food\, kiddie rides\, and kids area\, live music and performances\, and local merchants & civic organizations. \nSHOPPING\nShop til you drop along the Boulevard with over 100 quality exhibitors selling their merchandise such as jewelry\, handbags\, sports collectibles\, clothing\, home decor\, and much more. There is a special section with handmade crafts from local and nearby crafters and artisans with unique one-of-a-kind items. \nLIVE ENTERTAINMENT\nWhether on stage or under our music tents\, you will enjoy the sounds of some very talented cover bands\, soloists\, dancers\, demonstrations from the local karate & dance studios and more. It’s also a chance to kick back\, take a break in the music section filled with table & chairs for your use. \nKIDS ZONE\nPlus lots of fun stuff in the kid’s zone area all day\, where the children will enjoy this section filled with kiddie bounce rides\, slides\, and interactive blow-ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids games\, temporary tattoos\, and face painting\, just to name a few things. \nFOOD TRUCKS\nAs you stroll along the Blvd stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. DESCRIPTION:The Hasbrouck Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the borough’s most popular spring event\, held annually along the Boulevard. The Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from Raymond St to Washington Place and is open to the public from 10 am-5 pm. The fair features area merchants\, and 100+ quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food trucks and booths\, a kids entertainment area\, live music. The free concerts highlight popular cover bands at the main stage on Raymond St. There is a 2nd music area on Hamilton Ave. which showcases all local talent including karate schools\, dance schools\, and music schools on the local stage. The children entertainment area has kiddie inflatables\, a trackless train\, face painters\, games\, sand art\, slime making and more fun stuff to do. Kids\, make sure to visit “Gina the Balloon Lady” for your FREE balloon character or head ware…compliments of the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce. Her booth is located by the kids zone on the north end of the fair by Kipp Ave. Come hungry! Some of the local eateries will be participating in outdoor dining along with a variety of gourmet food trucks and food vendors serving lobster rolls\, gyros\, shish kabobs\, zeppoles\, funnel cakes\, fried oreos\, sausage & pepper sandwiches\, empanadas\, cheese steaks\, Kettle corn\, ice cream\, lemon ice\, candy and nuts\, sweet bread\, jams\, sticky buns\, burgers\, fries\, hot dogs\, ice cream\, lemonade and more. There’s a beer garden too!…located at the Heights Bar and Grill at 163 Boulevard. If you like shopping this is the place to be. This festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and local merchants selling products\, new items\, and collectibles. DESCRIPTION:The 44th annual Fire Muster & Fire Fighter’s Family Day\, presented by the Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade\, will take place at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center on Sunday\, August 17\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore over 80 antique fire trucks from the Mid-Atlantic States on display through the WheatonArts campus. \nThis year\, the fire truck used during the episode Peyton’s Places: The Santa Game will be out for presentation! The truck featured in the segment is a very rare 1961 Ward LaFrance Firebrand model. The FireBrand was introduced in 1960 and manufactured for just under 3 years by Ward LaFrance\, located in Elmira Heights\, New York. With only 109 Firebrands manufactured\, few are known to remain in running condition. This truck and its sister truck are part of Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade member John Burzichellis’ Ward LaFrance collection. \nVisitors will be able to take pictures as they climb aboard the fire truck and stand in the same spot as Peyton Manning did during the episode. \nFire Muster is FREE and open to the public\, part of WheatonArts Family Days\, presented in part by PNC Arts Alive. DESCRIPTION:Main Street will be transformed into a giant town block party\, from Park Street to Cedar Street. This event is presented by the Ridgefield Park Board of Commissioners and each fall it brings out thousands of music lovers. The fair is open from 10 am to 5 pm rain or shine. Bands will be performing on the Cedar Street stage and there will be a DJ with games and activities at the other end of the street fair by Park Street. We have quality exhibitors selling a selection of assorted items\, a special arts & crafts section\, live entertainment\, kiddie rides & games\, great festival foods & food trucks\, and so much more. Don’t miss stopping by the many local merchants & civic organizations to see what goodies they are passing out between Union & Essex Streets.
