DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Borough of Kenilworth the Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from 14th St. to 23rd St. and transformed into a giant block party from 10 am-4:00 pm. This event will feature quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food\, kiddie rides\, and kids area\, live music and performances\, and local merchants & civic organizations. \nSHOPPING\nShop til you drop along the Boulevard with over 100 quality exhibitors selling their merchandise such as jewelry\, handbags\, sports collectibles\, clothing\, home decor\, and much more. There is a special section with handmade crafts from local and nearby crafters and artisans with unique one-of-a-kind items. \nLIVE ENTERTAINMENT\nWhether on stage or under our music tents\, you will enjoy the sounds of some very talented cover bands\, soloists\, dancers\, demonstrations from the local karate & dance studios and more. It’s also a chance to kick back\, take a break in the music section filled with table & chairs for your use. \nKIDS ZONE\nPlus lots of fun stuff in the kid’s zone area all day\, where the children will enjoy this section filled with kiddie bounce rides\, slides\, and interactive blow-ups\, face painters\, sand art & kids games\, temporary tattoos\, and face painting\, just to name a few things. \nFOOD TRUCKS\nAs you stroll along the Blvd stop to have a bite to eat and sit at tables in our live music area. DESCRIPTION:The Hasbrouck Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of the borough’s most popular spring event\, held annually along the Boulevard. The Boulevard will be closed to vehicle traffic from Raymond St to Washington Place and is open to the public from 10 am-5 pm. The fair features area merchants\, and 100+ quality exhibitors\, a special crafter’s section\, lots of great food trucks and booths\, a kids entertainment area\, live music. The free concerts highlight popular cover bands at the main stage on Raymond St. There is a 2nd music area on Hamilton Ave. which showcases all local talent including karate schools\, dance schools\, and music schools on the local stage. The children entertainment area has kiddie inflatables\, a trackless train\, face painters\, games\, sand art\, slime making and more fun stuff to do. Kids\, make sure to visit “Gina the Balloon Lady” for your FREE balloon character or head ware…compliments of the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce. Her booth is located by the kids zone on the north end of the fair by Kipp Ave. Come hungry! Some of the local eateries will be participating in outdoor dining along with a variety of gourmet food trucks and food vendors serving lobster rolls\, gyros\, shish kabobs\, zeppoles\, funnel cakes\, fried oreos\, sausage & pepper sandwiches\, empanadas\, cheese steaks\, Kettle corn\, ice cream\, lemon ice\, candy and nuts\, sweet bread\, jams\, sticky buns\, burgers\, fries\, hot dogs\, ice cream\, lemonade and more. There’s a beer garden too!…located at the Heights Bar and Grill at 163 Boulevard. If you like shopping this is the place to be. This festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and local merchants selling products\, new items\, and collectibles. DESCRIPTION:The 44th annual Fire Muster & Fire Fighter’s Family Day\, presented by the Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade\, will take place at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center on Sunday\, August 17\, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore over 80 antique fire trucks from the Mid-Atlantic States on display through the WheatonArts campus. \nThis year\, the fire truck used during the episode Peyton’s Places: The Santa Game will be out for presentation! The truck featured in the segment is a very rare 1961 Ward LaFrance Firebrand model. The FireBrand was introduced in 1960 and manufactured for just under 3 years by Ward LaFrance\, located in Elmira Heights\, New York. With only 109 Firebrands manufactured\, few are known to remain in running condition. This truck and its sister truck are part of Glasstown Antique Fire Brigade member John Burzichellis’ Ward LaFrance collection. \nVisitors will be able to take pictures as they climb aboard the fire truck and stand in the same spot as Peyton Manning did during the episode. \nFire Muster is FREE and open to the public\, part of WheatonArts Family Days\, presented in part by PNC Arts Alive. DESCRIPTION:Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center\, in partnership with the Authority of Cumberland County\, presents the 19th annual ECO Fair: Artful Living\, Handmade & Homegrown on Saturday\, May 2\, 2026\, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, rain or shine. ECO Fair is a free event inspired by natural and artful living\, featuring local gardening clubs\, including Rutgers Master Gardeners with various native and wildlife-friendly plants\, locally grown herbs and vegetables for sale\, handmade works of New Jersey artists\, environmental organizations\, Nature Trail tours\, eco-friendly activities for families\, live music\, and more. \nThis year\, CU Maurice River’s Keynote Speaker\, Jennifer Brown\, Collection Manager for the Glass Flowers at Harvard University\, will be presenting “The Glass Flowers at Harvard University: Marvels of Art and Science.” Join us in the Event Center at 1 p.m. as Jennifer discusses one of Harvard University’s most famous treasures\, the internationally acclaimed Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants\, better known as the Glass Flowers. \nAdmission to all WheatonArts exhibits and Artist Studio demonstrations is free and open to the public for the day\, part of WheatonArts Family Days\, presented by PNC Arts Alive. Supply your zip code at the Gate and receive a FREE Eco-shopping bag\, courtesy of the Authority of Cumberland County. One per adult\, while supplies last. SUMMARY:Girl Night Out in Downtown Millburn
DESCRIPTION:Dining\, shopping\, and dressing up – it doesn’t get much better than that! \nGirls’ Night Out is hosted annually on the first Thursday evening in June. Women from Millburn\, Short Hills\, and the surrounding towns all head to Downtown Millburn for shopping specials\, giveaways\, and a dedicated night to explore the shops in their favorite town. Local businesses offer discounts\, promos\, free swag\, special themed items\, raffles\, games\, snacks\, and more! A great chance to connect with your favorite businesses in town and discover new ones\, all while spending a fun evening out with your girlfriends. \nThis year’s theme is 90s music\, so grab your glitter and get ready to rock! \nThis year’s event will be centralized to one main area; event will take place on the main stretch of Millburn Ave from the intersection of Town Hall Plaza to the intersection of Lackawanna Place. Plan to park in our parking deck on Essex St (first hour is free!) and walk over to Millburn Ave. Start at one end of the event and make your way down to visit all of our business store-fronts and sidewalk tables. Enjoy live music/DJs as you stroll down the sidewalk and into store-fronts\, and be sure to find our “roller girls” to get some fun prizes and complimentary glitter face painting. \nShop until you drop- shop locally for a chance to win! Receive a special EMSH envelope at the event\, add all of your shopping receipts the envelope\, fill out your info\, and drop your envelope full of receipts into one of our mailboxes for a chance to win a $50 gift card to a business of your choice! (10+ winners will be chosen!) Mailbox locations are posted on our website. Shopping contest runs from June 1 thru June 11. \nFirst 150 attendees will receive a FREE swag bag.
