DESCRIPTION:The largest Renaissance Faire in New Jersey is located off major highways\, including the NJ Turnpike in Northern Burlington County\, 75 minutes south of NYC\, and 30 minutes north of Philadelphia. Taking place the last two weekends of May and first two weekends of June\, the NJ Ren Faire is a magical experience for young children through senior citizens\, as patrons enjoy a 16th century village of performers\, merchants\, food vendors\, and interactive townspeople from the “Village of Crossford.” You won’t be able to tell the actors from the patrons\, as many dress-up in beautiful costumes (and some\, more simple and silly!) Shows range from singing\, swordfighting\, comedy\, fire breathing\, belly dancing\, and more. Over 100 artisan merchants sell hand-made products like clothing\, candles\, crystal balls\, and most anything you can imagine- it’s basically a medieval flea market- but they too\, are in character\, and all products are handmade. There are kid-specific activities and performers\, including a mermaid\, and Shelli Buttons- a magical aero-pixie\, who is an absolute delight\, but just roaming the paths of Crossford itself is a total hoot! Child tickets are only $12\, and it’s free for under 5 years old- Pack plenty of water and snacks\, and plan on being there for a while\, if you can- some families return for multiple days\, and you can even purchase a ticket for the family dog! DESCRIPTION:The County College of Morris will highlight NASA’s Artemis mission to the Moon in a full dome planetarium show Forward to the Moon starting Friday\, April 10. The planetarium’s popular shows Cosmic Colors and Starlit Nights will also be running this spring. These three 45-minute shows blend cutting-edge technology with immersive storytelling and will be presented beneath the 33-foot-diameter dome to reveal the beauty\, science and wonder of the cosmos. Shows are presented on the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Shows range from singing\, swordfighting\, comedy\, fire breathing\, belly dancing\, and more. DESCRIPTION:The largest Renaissance Faire in New Jersey is located off major highways\, including the NJ Turnpike in Northern Burlington County\, 75 minutes south of NYC\, and 30 minutes north of Philadelphia. Taking place the last two weekends of May and first two weekends of June\, the NJ Ren Faire is a magical experience for young children through senior citizens\, as patrons enjoy a 16th century village of performers\, merchants\, food vendors\, and interactive townspeople from the “Village of Crossford.” You won’t be able to tell the actors from the patrons\, as many dress-up in beautiful costumes (and some\, more simple and silly!) Shows range from singing\, swordfighting\, comedy\, fire breathing\, belly dancing\, and more. Over 100 artisan merchants sell hand-made products like clothing\, candles\, crystal balls\, and most anything you can imagine- it’s basically a medieval flea market- but they too\, are in character\, and all products are handmade. There are kid-specific activities and performers\, including a mermaid\, and Shelli Buttons- a magical aero-pixie\, who is an absolute delight\, but just roaming the paths of Crossford itself is a total hoot! Child tickets are only $12\, and it’s free for under 5 years old- Pack plenty of water and snacks\, and plan on being there for a while\, if you can- some families return for multiple days\, and you can even purchase a ticket for the family dog! King Louis XIII rules the kingdom\, yet the true power of France increasingly rests in the hands of his chief minister\, Cardinal Richelieu. The Cardinal is a brilliant strategist and political mastermind\, but his ambition breeds suspicion and resentment at court. Guarding the King are the elite Musketeers of the Guard—legendary soldiers renowned for courage\, honor\, and fierce loyalty. Among them stand three inseparable companions: Athos\, Porthos\, and Aramis and the young newcomer D’Artagnan. \nBring your children to the renaissance faire and watch them experience a world of magic and wonder! Let them train alongside real knights in the interactive Squire School\, or face the knights in combat with Fight A Knight! Learn the wonders of science with the Alchemy Show!
