At the Baby Fair\, healthcare professionals from obstetricians\, gynecologists\, to experts in fetal and maternal medicine midwives\, nurses and nursing assistants and more will be leading workshops covering topics that are important for new and expecting parents. These sessions address infant care\, breastfeeding\, nutrition\, and safety\, providing evidence-based information for first time parents and caregivers. What’s more exciting are tours of the Lord Abbett Maternity Wing\, a modern\, state-of-the-art maternity wing and its amenities like private rooms\, ambient lighting and Halo bassinets to ensure a comfortable birthing experience for families. \nThe Baby Fair’s workshops provide a tangible extension of this vital education\, offering practical guidance and direct access to experts\, complementing the care provided in clinics and during regular checkups. For example\, a workshop focusing on the importance of prenatal and postnatal education\, which cannot be overstated. Prenatal care allows healthcare providers to monitor pregnancy progress\, identify and neutralize potential complications early\, and guide expecting mothers on nutrition\, exercise\, and lifestyle factors crucial for a healthy pregnancy. Postnatal care focuses on postpartum recovery\, breastfeeding support\, newborn care\, and maternal well-being\, including addressing mental health concerns like postpartum depression. \nThe Baby Fair offers a vendor showcase\, allowing families to explore a range of safe baby products\, from strollers and car seats to clothing and nursery essentials. This hands-on event coupled with interactive demonstrations on baby gear and safety tips\, empowers parents to make informed decisions about the products they wish to use. \nThe Baby Fair is designed to foster connections with community by bringing together local organizations and community resources offering support services for families. The event showcases over 30 Music Bands/Solo Artists playing on multiple stages throughout the day and into the night. For its 10th anniversary\, Rocktoberfest is thrilled to welcome headliner Fix You\, a world-class Coldplay tribute band\, to the stage. Fans of the iconic band can expect to hear all their favorite hits brought to life with the passion and energy that only Fix You can deliver. Having played on Jimmy Fallon’s Clash of the Cover Bands on E! Network and in shows all over the world\, from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic to North Carolina and Georgia\, this international tribute band is guaranteed to blow minds this September.\nOur Kid’s Zone has activities for pre-K to age 18 including Arts & STEM Activities • Inflatables • Rides • Carnival Games • Face Painting • And More!\nOur Inclusivity Zone includes acoustic music in a quiet and air-conditioned space inside the Bauer Center. Just outside of the low sensory room are NJ Special Olympics activities\, including an obstacle course and a basketball demo. At dusk\, there will also be a silent disco out on the tennis courts for those who want to get their groove on to the beats of a DJ playing a variety of music on different channels.  You’ll find an assortment of Food & Shopping options from local eateries and retail stores plus lots of great handmade goods and unique products in our Artisan Village. Visit our nonprofit tables to learn how to get involved in the community and our education vendors to learn about activities for your children.\nOur Beer Garden is for 21 and over and adults can enjoy beer\, wine and non-alcoholic options while listening to music near the main stage.\nDon’t miss our Acoustic Stage at Boxcar Bar & Grill where you can enjoy brunch starting at 11:30am\, then dinner\, drinks\, and our after-party until midnight.\nIt’s a community-building FUNdraiser that the whole family can enjoy.
