The heartwarming story follows Alex\, a boy who doesn’t get everything right but consistently chooses compassion\, showing how empathy can brighten even the hardest days.\nDesigned for classrooms and families\, the program combines read-aloud storytelling\, guided discussion\, and hands-on art activities that reinforce empathy\, perspective-taking\, and positive decision-making. Children create heart-based art projects that make social-emotional learning tangible and memorable.\nThe launch event will include a book reading\, creative art activities\, a book signing\, and light refreshments. Meet the author\, Hammonton resident Jamie Stephan\, and illustrator\, Vineland resident Michael Cagno. The event is free and open to the public.
